Energy transfer from cuetip to whiteball

So did you need read my post or just simply not comprehend???? Maybe you should read it again and this time read all of the words.

The shots in the video appear to have ample speed to break a 9 ball rack.
I think 'Your' knowledge of the speed it takes to create certain effects to the CB/shots in 3C is 'Extremely' limited!

In fact, just from Your last sentence, 'Non-Existent'!

JMPO!

Useful Instructional Phrases That Help You Play Pool Better

My psychology training taught that the subconscious does not parse the negative in the "Don't miss." Guaranteed miss.
This is what I was referring to in an earlier post in this thread where I stated the conscious mind, that little voice in our head, has NO place being anywhere near a pool table while playing this game.

It’s also why I don’t believe in the premise of the initial post in this thread regarding “helpful phrases” or little “positive mantras” people repeat to themselves, and lastly, with the misguided mental performance coach’s who preach and prescribe “positive self talk” as a way to better performance.

You have to spend the time to develop the skills required to play this sport through rote repetition. Once you have developed those skills, the goal is to achieve “flow state” in practice and competition, this is done through visualization.

We are nothing more as humans than advanced computers. Every shot you have ever hit, is a file within your subconscious mind. When players have “those magical days”, where they couldn’t miss, couldn’t put a foot wrong, are then perplexed when during their next session that it’s gone. If you play like that once, then you can play that way EVERY TIME. It’s a matter of understanding how to access this flow state. That is done through complete visualization of each shot prior to dropping on the ball, seeing it in it’s entirety, from dropping on the shot, to it’s successful execution, to the cue ball traveling the path you intend to proper shape on the next shot. This is how you pull up that file from your subconscious, seeing it in your mind, feeling it in your hands, trusting in the practice and training you have put in to develop the skills required to perform it. See it, don’t THINK about it, your hands are smarter than your head is ever going to be. And as you allude to in your post I quoted, our subconscious isn’t directed by language, that little voice in your head. It is directed by pictures, visions, silently seeing it in your mind. It really is that simple.

EDIT for one final thought,
Get out of your own way.

Energy transfer from cuetip to whiteball

100% False!

Here 2 examples of 'Soft Draw' with Extreme Precision!

NO need to 'Squeeze the Cue' if a player knows the proper techniques!

BTW, in both these examples the '3rd ball' is a little more than a '1 ball width' from the cushion!

Did 'I' ever use the words, 'Soft or Slow'?

The 'Tempo, Rhythm & Timing' determine what 'Amount of Acceleration' I want to apply, (All accelerations are Not the same) to the CB!

In the 1st video, the CB Only travels about 20 inches, according to Your logic, (the distance the cue ball travels will tell the story), Doesn't hold water!

You never mention the effect on the CB in re; to 'Quantity' of OB contacted!

In All the examples I provided the contact on the OB is about 85-95%!

I'll ask again, "Does it look like I'm hitting the CB hard/force for the effect I'm transferring to the CB"?

Or in these terms, "Do You think I'm hitting the CB hard enough to Breal the balls in 9 ball, successfully"?
The shots in the video appear to have ample speed to break a 9 ball rack.

Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

So, it is simulated Birds eye maple, and Rengas woods? Not the real thing? I find that hard to believe. I have had a lit of very nice cues, and the BEM looks real, in the handle. Am I just a fool?

Have you seen the advertising for Pechaur cues? They advertise Simulated Ebony, on any cues that have any black in them. Basically Black stained Maple, I believe. Even in a lot of their high end models, priced over $1k.

Easy to simulate Ebony (just paint it Black, or stain it Black), but Rengas and Birds eye maple?

Yeah, I am probably fooling myself. It is a very cheap cue. The maple veneers look very real though, and so do the woods. The handle looks like a real, natural BEM, and that is how it is advertised. They do not use the word Simulated, or graphic, or decal, for the woods.

It is also advertised as having Maple veneers. Not simulated.
I have an Ebony cue, its definitely not painted, under bright lights you can see the wood grain.

Classic Billiards - FL Open prep

i love that the ref sticks around for afterhours action. 👍 rack manipulation and racking arguments is the worst thing about action matches

And somebody here should adopt Wictor, since he is no longer representing Poland.

the polish federation are a**holes. they tried to block him from playing WC last year. he should wear a big polish flag every match to spite them

My World Class little league coaching as catcher was, "if you blink, you can still be a good catcher. If you Don't Blink you can be as good as Yogi or Johnny Bench.(Well Johnny came well after this coaching. ).
Remember to find a coaching phrase that doesn't have a negative.
You know like in the movie.
"Can't have No negative vibes."
