hello this is mark, hope the weather has been better there. the last wk we had 2 storms dropping like 1o-12 inches twice and high wind. What can you tell me about the cues? I did tell terry he could stay over at my place when he come through town around the first- if a cue or 2 is ready (he could bring it. thanks for the update in advance>> mark 763-433-8031 , or cell is 763-350- 3437.
MANWON,

I tried your cold method and used some heat to try to straighten a really warped shaft. I am not sure if I was doing this incorrectly or if the warp was too severe. I went against the advice of "Do Not Add Moisture" and I wrapped the cue in a towel, binded with rubberbands, then used a clothes steamer to steam the towel. Then the high point up, I had placed the cue on books, and added a little weight to the middle of the shaft. I repeated the process seeing slight results each time. The final few attempts I had hung the towel wrapped cue so it was perfectly vertical, steamed more and then let it dry completely like this. The shaft is now completely straight. I recognize that moisture can damage the cue more, but as a last ditch effort it worked well.

Friend CueJoey:

On your rhetorical question message to me on the Reynolds thread, I can only reply, 'if you say so.' Because I never said anything of the sort, as I posted back on the thread when this charge was made. And you can check for yourself if you re-read all that I wrote. I'm sorry some have over-read what I did say to mean or imply this, which I do not believe. I make enough trouble for myself here in my own words without also being charged with saying things I never said.

Sincerely,

Sofla
Mr Wilson - I just started a thread on a nice Grantland article. As soon as I posted it I saw someone had done the same so if possible please don't post my thread. Thx and appreciate your hard work

Jim
This is not the Ultra X LD shaft, this is the original version. I believe it's lower deflection than standard shafts but not as low as an OB or Pred. Because of that however it retains a great feel (I had a Tiger Sneaky with the same shaft). Tip is a Sniper.
Hey the tiger ultra is a low deflect shaft correct? What size is the shaft at the tip and what tip is on.the shaft
Can you message me your email address? I have been sending you private messages on here but I don't think they are sending. I am really interested in the Moyer Cues items.
