Hi, Art! Sleeveless Eddie from the pool hall. Just letting you know that I bought a mint condition Bill McDaniel Sneaky Pete (being shipped today). So... now it's your turn! The ball is in your court. I'm on AZ now as eddieautomatic. I'll show you the refinished Carmeli when I come in... maybe today.
Yes, it is still available. It is fairly airtight....more than most cases. You hear the suction when you pull the lid off.

Thanks for the rep. I got outta Shitcago years ago and am enjoying every minute! Hope you like SD. Seems like everyone I've met from there is good people.
Hi Steve,

Thanks for the "greenie". Mike grew up in the pool room I frequented. And I mean grew up. Once he hit the pool room it was over for his personal life. 17 and playing for thousands. He is a product of his youth. When he was in Rochester to visit his parents, I "babysat" Trevor and Spencer for he and Rene. Never acknowledged my friendship through all the years. Sad, very sad.

I did the Simpson 3 day and it was ok. I met Mark Finklestein there, he was an instructor and did a lesson with him in Manhattan. He is very good.. Scott Lee is very good, I took a 5hr plus lesson from him. It was scheduled for 4 hrs and he went way over, no charge. But he travels all over so he may be hard to schedule. All 3 of those mentioned are heavy on training the pendulum stroke. Smoothstroke is an AZB member and I think he's excellent. Not too far away from PA, maybe 2 hrs. He's only an hour or so no traffic for me.
Thank you, franko. I do try to stick to the facts and the truth, and I hope I always show that I do.
Interesting story...
I am down to 2 cues, but something that is really surprising to me is Summit cues. I got one, changed out the tip, and it hits very well. You can get one (fancy sneaky, custom to your weight, cocobolo very reasonable). Also, don't rule out Schmelke. Check out their website for prices.
Don't forget pawn shops. I picked up a Players HXT with case for $25, and a Pechauer with an extra OB shaft with a case for $30. The deals are there, you just have to find them.

Hey Rod, wondering if you were interested in refreshing another old Mali or 2 for me? Same as before, need to have the finish removed from the butt, new linen, no laminate over linen...plus a new shaft made with the rings on the shaft I have. I have 2 cues/shafts I want to do this with....let me know if you're interested and the pricing.

I had a conversation with another user on here who said he believed the reason my last one broke (butt at the forearm) was because I had you remove the finish from over the wrap. I like it without the laminate, any thoughts on how removing the laminate may affect strength of the cue? I am not real confident in his words due to a few other issues but don't want to lose another cue.

You might remember, I bought a Schon STL-5 from you a year or so ago. I have been playing with my son's 60" cue with a G10 radial pin, and an OB classic shaft 12.75 mm.
Do you have a 30" butt only with a G10 pin? or a Jacoby cue 60" with the G10 radial pin and a LD shaft. Not looking for fancey cue, just a solid player. Merry widow with a wrap and the G10 radial would work.
thanks
