hey
purely for playability. When i first tried that shaft about 6 months ago I missed everything, when I used english. That shaft puts so much spin on the ball its incredible. It definately took a little while to get used to it, but once we did, its been great. Me and my son are both using one and it has improved our game tremendously.
I am no big player...just giving you my personal opinion

no I HAD $$$$, I aint made a dollar in 15 months, so save that, and get a life. I have a state of mind not to be denied anything that life has to offer, do you? or do you just settle for what lands at your feet?, its called heart. perhaps this is a bit much for you to understand,
and so what if i cant spell, i cant help it.

Nice post on FatBoy. If he is so rich maybe he should pay someone to type his posts that can spell. If someone has to remind you all the time how rich they are they are probably a fraud.
If by fraud you mean that FatBoy isn't as rich as says he is, that is wrong. FatBoy is exactly as rich as he says he is, he may talk about it more than most, but he is way more honest than most about what he has.
Hey. I'll be the first to admit that I don't have as much money as I would like. Sure a few million would make things a little easier on me. Heck! It would make things a little easier on most of us.
Heart? I'm not sure your definition of that word and mine are the same. 'Heart' was not what made you wealthy.
And I have to admit I find it amusing that you found a way to help your financial situation but you "can't help" the fact that a 4 year old spells better than you? Why not use some of that money and buy a dictionary. Or maybe even a copy of Strunk and White's The Elements of Style?

i collapsed at 35 from a near miss heart attack, i carry nitro everyewhere with me, i take beta blockers. I go to a cardiologist and there is no disease in my arteries, i have heart problems from stress, i'm a fighter and dont take what lands at my feet, I dont have millions laying around around to blow anymore, what I have left is blood $$$. I am balls to the wall on everything i do, if it kills me, so be it.,
The people who respect me here respect me for the content on my charcter not my $$$, i ignore the kiss ass "yes men" because I have $$$, to me those ppl are users and I have no time for them, I'm smart enough to know who admirres me for who I am, I admire alot of people here, I never admired anyone because of their $$$, are you that simple, or jealous??? $$$$ dosent make me who I am, I make me who I am.

As for you health issues, I feel for you. Having to go through life with health conditions is not fun by any means. I should know. In my younger years, I was as carefree as could be and loved to party with the best of them. As I got older, I was told that would all have to end because I would be medicated for the rest of my life for a pre-existing medical condition. But no big deal. It was a necessary sacrifice that allowed me to clear my head and start thinking in a level-headed and rational way.
In my youth, I like so many others thought that money and respect were what life was all about. It was only after I woke up that I realized that money comes and goes. For some, it stays a while. For others, its gone in the blink of an eye. But it will NEVER buy anyone happiness. And for those that think it can, well, what a sad life they must lead. As for respect, I'm sure you've found out that in the grand scheme of things, there are only a handful of people in each of our world's that really matter anyway.
Am I jealous? Hardly. I don't have to go through what you do on a daily basis. I have a wife, a child, and a degree of happiness that I truly believe most only dream of attaining someday.
As for your claim that money doesn't make you who you are, I agree wholeheartedly. Money doesn't define ANYONE. I suppose my reason for making the comments that I have is because for someone who doesn't seem to care about money anymore, you sure do make it a point to mention your wealth a lot. I'm not trying to argue. I'm just saying; perhaps you can see my reason for reading you wrong.
Sorry. Like I said, I tried to PM you this but either I'm too stupid to find that feature or you can't receive them. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was the 'too stupid' one. No one's ever accused me of being a rocket scientist.

Us members of this forum that have been around a while have grown to appreciate Fatboy. He readily admits he can't spell - so what - I use spell check when I sign my name.
Eric is one of the most valued members AZ has and he really does define the definition of Heart.

It seems your spelling got a little better on your last post.It was about what is normal on this forum,not great but pretty good.Did you slow down a little and try a little harder? If you made an effort to improve your spelling that impresses me more then all your money. Good luck with your health i'm 62 and know about these things.

Eric is not fraud and has done more for pool in the last five years than most who post here. I will not deny he is a little spelling challenged but you will not meet a more sincere and down to earth person, he was just trying to make a point in his post.
I for one miss Eric's posts here and I am not a nut hugger who is looking for a handout from Eric. I am just another pool junkie and I like people like Eric who are trying to make the game better for everyone.
Also, I see you are in Denver, I get there a couple of times a year. Let me know if you want to play a set of one pocket, nine ball, and spelling.

HEART.....Fatboy/Eric definitly has heart! I had never met or talked to Eric until about two years ago. At that time I needed to raise about 10g's to help one of my daughters. I called Eric to see if he was interested in buying one of my Gus S cues. He told me I should keep the Gus and try to work it out without selling the cue. But this is the part I can't forget, Eric offered to lend me the money if I could not work it out. Things worked out, I kept the Gus, and thank you Fatboy/Eric.

Its stone cold luck when I have a post with accurate spelling, Every dog has his day. On the square I can spell a word 3 different ways with in one post and other days I'll make a big long post with correct grammer, spelling, sentance structure. I have improved some.
My spelling problem is a genuine learning problem, when I ask Kelly (my girl for 10 years this month!!!!) she has to go one letter at a time s-l-o-w-l-y, I cant remember sequences of letters or sound out words, spell checkers dont catch my mistakes they are so bad.
I do my best though-its not because i'm lazy, I try and make up for that by helping people and being nice and making posts with good content, sure there are people here who dont like me, but I still like them, I make it a policy to like everyone and keep AZ a happy place, I took some time off AZ and was playing ALOT of pool, I just moved back to LA from Vegas and am working on a new biz, which means that I will be here more often during the next couple months.

Thanks to everyone for the nice words, it means alot to me. More than you think, What I dont have is family(and wish I did, I'd give up everything for family), except just one uncle who is 85 and he is mentally slipping a bit.
When you have no family and some $$$, TRUE/GENUINE friends are hard to find, and more importantly, and they(my friends) are more important to me than most people.(did I say that right??). Because when you have family you dont need friends as bad(just ask someone who has no family) Blood is thicker than water-I dont have that luxery, and wish I did, A brother and sister would be the best. Hows that for being honest? and baring my feelings in a public forum, I dont want sympathy, I'm just saying that my friends here mean ALOT to me, and I thank all of you. I stick to the facts and keep it real.
