Wow, check out this Scruggs on Ebay!

What???

Looks good to me!

:D:D

That's just tragic...in so many different ways.

With any luck, that listing will be pulled ASAP. Being a HUGE Scruggs fan, it actually hurts my feelings to see something like that.

I don't know if Tim or Mike ever look at Ebay, but this is one I wish they could see.....how lame!!

They very well MIGHT see the cue itself. The lister says he's offering a money-back deal, and even mentions having Tim inspect it.

Perhaps the SELLER doesn't know what he has?

This whole thing about - "We firmly believe this is an authentic Tim Scruggs Pool Cue and are offering a 14 day money back guarantee to its authenticity. This gives a person plenty of time to get it to Tim so he may evaluate it." - sounds kinda funky.....

Hard to say...but that crap attempt at the TS logo is KILLING the very core of my being....

This is at least the 2nd time i have seen this cue for sale. I am not saying it isnt legit. Pics suck. The logo on the bottom has been done by hand. PROBABLY a fake but could be over time and having some work done to it the logo wore off and someone retouched it with some grinding tool. Pics suck to bad for me to get a good view of the points and collars to give a good opinion on the cue. It wont sell anyway. Anyone who knows the logos that have been used, will definitely stay away. He needs to just go ahead and send it to Tim, replace the cap(if it is really one of his) and sell it then. Just my .02.

Freakin funny Mark. Thanks for the second good laugh of the night.
Heres a copy and paste of the message I sent this crazy cat thru Ebay.

Look, I dont know what makes you firmly belive
that this is a genuine Tim Scruggs cue, but you
cant honestly believe that someone is going to
fork over $ 1500. on a TS logo that was penned
in do you? Its brutally clear that you, or some-
one else took a ball point pen and inked it in
themselves. You might want to check out their web
site and at least use a straight edge on the "T".
Wow. Anyways, good luck finding a sucker to fall
for that logo. I'm not saying its not a scruggs,
with those crappy pics, it could just as well be, but
with that last picture it sure as heck makes you
look like your trying to scam the heck out of
someone. Drop it to $ 100.00 buy it now, and I'll
buy it just because of the three shafts, but
thats as high as I would go with those pics. Good
luck again, I bet you'll need it to fetch the
1500 bucks. Then again, theres a new sucker born
everyday. I'm glad I was born way before
yesterday. Not trying to put you down. Just
trying to tell it like it is.

Very nice...couldn't have put it better:thumbup:

The seller has a decent rating and anyone in their right mind trying to pass off a fake surely would not put a big picture of a bad logo or signature for everyone to see.....at least I hope not. This is most likey a case of seller ignorance and they have no idea if its real or not and maybe saw a real Scruggs priced around that much.

ummmm could be real

now if Mr.sckruggs (I hid the real name so noone would be suspicious) wuz in his cups when he signed his cue it cud look just like that TRY IT
an furthermore do you think someone with an original would try to scam someone, sheesh lookit the deal he is givin ya
Irish

The best picture is the bottom picture with the TS logo.
Make sure you supersize that picture.

I don't know what is going on here. All I can see is one photo of the cue and the shafts from a distance. Did he pull the other photos....?????!!!!!

Ill go out on a limb and say its not Scruggs. Looks to me to be a 18 thread round top pin, and the shaft inserts are not how Tim does pilots.
That said, the seller might not realize its a fake.

You've nailed it. If it's legit someone tried to restore the logo themselves instead letting Tim or Mike do it right. I can't say for sure if it's a TS cue due to the sorry pictures. Regardless, i'd stay away......

Exactly. Pics are so blurry you just cant tell for sure. I sent the guy an email suggesting what he do. I definitely wouldnt buy the cue. Cue will only sell if he gets a new butt cap and/or a letter of authenticity from Tim or Mike.

He ended it early cause he caught so much grief... not due to excessive greenbacks.
