I carry a Vincitore because it was cheap. A case is just something to hold your cues.

around town, a 50$ cheapy. Out pretenting to be sombody a Justis Lite 2x4 I designed off his website. Starting to collect a few names on it...

I was going to get a Justis cases but his new non-tube cases don't inspire confidence

Interesting: More votes for "Custom" than any 'production' cue case.

We have some high classed shooters on this forum!

Justis for me.

I disagree with Jack, I think his old tube style are better than the new ones.

I agree with you, everytime I see Jack I tell him I prefer the tubes inside the case better. The case without the tubes I think is a couple of pounds lighter. The extra weight is fine by me.

Vincentore

I had a Justis....I just couldnt carry such a nice case..I hated getting it scratched..So I went back to my Vincentore.

One thing I didnt and dont like about the Justis...I didnt like the pro lite..I opened the door on my truck, somehow the top came unbuttoned, and my cues just "PLOOP" fell out......I would prefer a tube design and there be a material in the tubes that will hold the shafts and butts in securely even if you held it upside down with the lid off.

Dont get me wrong, I like Justis, and may have another someday that someone has already beat up..I just prefer something different is all

ftgokie:

You might want to take a gander at the Sterling Wave cases (previous post #3). Although John Barton explains the features and architecture of the case much better in his video, I can tell you that this case holds securely onto both the shafts and butts, and only releases them if you do the "shake" method that John demonstrates in the video, or if you lightly pull them out the normal way.

Hope this is helpful,

I totally agree....I hated carrying mine around in the Pro Lite listening to them clang around inside the case...That is one of the main reasons I got rid of my Justis.

I would buy a tube style, but I feel the shafts clanking around in the Pro Lite may cause damage to them..or possibly the butt...

> Currently,it's a black vinyl Stroke Sports Instroke copy,no tooling or engraving, just solid black with chrome latches,3x5. My next case will be a customized 3x6 Whitten. Tommy D.

For everyday, I use an older Predator 2 x 4 leather.
I think that Instroke made it. Its prette beat up, so
I dont worry about bumping it. For those "Special
Occasions" I use my cusomized JB Flowers tribute
2 x 4. Its # 2008-021.

Here are pictures of both my cases.
The one on the left is my old primary case. Can someone please provide some information about this case? I bought this case secondhand from someone and I never thought to ask very specific details of the case.

The other is an Instroke that I just bought for only $150. I love the aged leather on it.

I actually have 2 cases. I have an instroke which I was told was one that was made with leftover material. Its red, white, blue and black. Its a 2x4. My other case is a custom Joe Porper which I believe was made in 1993 or thereabouts. Its also a 2x4.

Love them both.

I remember this case.
