There are quite a few ex-BCA league operators that are now current ACS league operators that would argue that when the BCA sold the league system to Mark Griffin it was a questionable business transaction.
Mark Griffin defended his position and transaction quite admirably to all the ex-BCA turned ACS league operators in an open discussion at the 2003 BCA Vegas event.
Questionable Business transaction? I doubt it, but there are biased ex-BCA league operators and members that think so.
The BCA also sold the right to call the league 'BCA' a specified time and from what I understand, the BCA just sued to get the rites back to the BCA trademark.
If this makes Mark Griffin a 'marked' man of questionable business practices then someone has some explaining to do.
As always I am just expressing my opinion. A humble one it is.
