Parica just won his match against Chohan. Earl Strickland is up on the Accu-Stats TV table.

Commentators aren't interacting with the Chat Room, although many AZBers were in the Chat Room. Parica played well. Tony got two TERRIBLE rolls on the last couple of shots he had even though he played the shots well.

How do I get the chat for the PPV?

Follow the instructions on http://www.accu-stats.com/liveppv.html

Then
Click on the link called: Accu-Stats PPV Chat
YOu must have Java technology on your computer to run the chat. It is free software you can download and the instructions are on the website.

There are also some Frequently Asked Questions that you can click on to help.

The video was very clear and I never had one frame buffered.

Good luck,

Tony looked like a lock for that one when he was up 8 - 2; how Parica clawed his way back I don't know. I guess that's when the experience comes into play.

Tony did get some horrible rolls though in the last few racks.

Is it all going to still be winner's side matches today, or are we going to see some of the star-studded loser's side matches as well?

Looking forward to it...

Who's commentating for accu-stats this year?

Danny Deliberto is at the helm if I am not mistaken, Tony Crosby lent a hand, Bill Gibbs and a fellow from New York and a couple of other free lancers.) It seemed to be a mixture of different talent last night.

The commentators don't interact with the Chat Room but the chat room had plenty of AZBers there. Party poopers, PoolAddict and Roy Steffenson cashed out early as usual. Jose Parica played well for an old guy.

Too bad for Tony. Would be nice to see him come through on the one lose side. I remember when he won the USSPA tournament in 2002. Lost his first match and fought his way back to the the winners circle.

Shortly after winning i HEARD he lost the 5 large at the crap table.

Joey ... Unless the table was defective in some way, Tony got the rolls that he played to begin with. Either his speed, english, or angle was off somewhat to ended up getting that terrible roll. For every ACTION, there is a REACTION. We make our own breaks in Pool, both good and bad.

And when it rains it gets wet.

What is your point?

I hear ya but......

When you kick at a ball that is a 1/3 of a ball off the rail and make it and get snookered behind the only ball on the table that you could get potentially hide behind and that snookering ball is 4 feet away from the object ball; I call that a bad roll.

When you kick one rail at a ball that is not close to a pocket with nothing for the cue ball to hide behind and you make a good solid hit and the cue bounces two rails into an unlikely pocket; I call that a bad roll.

I dont think it was as much of a Parica comeback as much as Chohan REALLY let it slip away. When things were going his way, I think it really got to him and it made things worse.

TV table rolls funny. Tony should have played Jose Parica out there in the gravel. Those tables play much differently than the TV table. Meanwhile, Jose is comfortable and has more experience playing on that TV table. Tony should have respecfully requested to play elsewhere. He still might have lost, but he would have had a better chance

The match was horrawful and so was the commentating.

I don't know what match YOU watched but I watched the matched and listened to the commentary and plan to purchase it when it's available. I thought it was a great match! Parica couldn't get his break working early in the match when Tony was getting the best of the rolls. When Tony was up 8-2, Jose found a "sweet spot" to break from which gave him some success and the rolls started going Parica's way. Jose is the BEST "Come from behind Player" in pool, IMHO. I've been watching him snatch runaway matches away from his opponents for nearly 25 years. Saw him come back from a 9-2 deficit twice in the same tourney, to win. I also had part of his actions about 20 years ago when he spotted Dirty Danny Jones the 7 ball AND 10 GAMES ON THE WIRE, RACING TO 30. Danny got off to a good start winning the first 7 games! I think he won about 3 or 4 more games before Jose finished him off putting together clusters of 3 and 4 rack runs with an occasional safety or dry break. I don't think Jose missed a ball he shot to make the entire session. Some of the finest 9-ball I've ever watched!
Oh, and where do you get off knocking the commentary? Danny D is the best in the business! I have a feeling your tombstone will be adorned with these words.... "Beneath this rock lies a constant KNOCK" !

just more hot air!

The thing about Parica is he plays the same whether he is up 8-2 or down 8-2.

Where do I get off…… lol, it’s my opinion. Danny’s probably a hell of a guy but IMO he aint no commentator.

And if you think that was good pool I’d happily spot you the last 6 in any 9 ball race.

I bet if you were to ask either player, they’d tell you it was the worst pool they’d shot in the last 10 years.

As for tombstones, yours will simply be adorned with these fine words:

“Here lies Stupid”

You're on! I'll take the last 6! We can play some sets for 10 dimes and I never play 9-ball. Gee what would you like to spot me playing one-pocket and Banks? We can play an all round!

I may be Stupid, but I hope you're serious! I'd like to send a Hogg to slaughter! lol
