Has anyone tried this thing yet or has some experience with it (RKC)?

My question is: Besides removing chalk dust, does it also pick up hair, lint and other such debris? Or does the table still require an occasional vacuuming/brushing to get the other stuff besides the chalk?

Thanks!

You're NOT getting off that easy, yes you still need to vaccum the table once in a while:D

Not even close on the cost. Its closer to $100.00 checkout pooldawg.com

Pooldawg doesn't sell things at cost. They are a retailer that sells most of their items at the manufacturers MAP. To get something at cost, you have to be a dealer or distributor.

That would be a 150% margin............rather preposterous.

LOL Majic, now I'm confused. Where does the $20 come from? The only figures I've seen posted to use as reference is $40 cost and $90 retail. But even if the company pays $20 for it and sells it for $100, their margin is 80%. In any event, profit margin cannot exceed 100% and even then only if the cost is zero.

I doubt any dealer will post their actual dealer cost here so speculating on markup/profit (call it what you will) is sort of
a waste of time. Also consider that not all dealers will have the same cost.

Dartman, reading your post it just struck me, Majic probably meant markup, not margin.

$90 = total RIP OFF.

Buy a "SWIFFER" quicker upper pad.

They use static electricity just as this simmonis tool does.

use the pad and it will pick up anything this simmonis tool will.

The only thing it will not do is put the cloths fibres in one direction to make it look smooth, you can do this with others things though pretty simply.

We now carry the Simonis X1 Here
Only other place I've seen them offered so far is Pooldawg and some place in Europe.
At retail the X1 will have a Simonis MAP price and it is recommended for use on worsted cloth only.
NOT recommended for use on napped or teflon treated cloth (sorry Brunswick Centennial)
