Have New Forum Moderators Been Added?

People...... gotta love 'em! This guy, Clark the Shark basically gets on one of my threads that has been moved and literally tells me "the next time you post, read the rules". I don't remember him being my mama or my boss, so I hope for his own sake he's a mod and not just some whiney, no life character that has nothing better to do with his time than police

Why bite your tongue? You have almost 2K in posts, tons of great itrader ratings, and seem to be a contributing member of this forum.
Unless they are having to move your posts all the time or you get a lot of warnings, it is not out of the question to be polite when sending messages.

Yes, Clark is a mod for the reviews area. He came to me with the request to add that section and asked if he could keep an eye on it so that it only had reviews in it.
If there is any issue with any of the mods, please feel free to PM me with details.

I still think I was within my rights to post in the Wanted/FS section, as I had a cue case to sell, and was doing a little research to determine a sell price, as this was a collectible case.
I also put the thread in the Main Forum: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?&p=2201231 (which has proved to be one of the best threads this year, thanks to VERY helpful input from some of our senior members!). The thread took off in the Main Forum, so I let the one in the Wanted/FS section fade into obscurity. It suddenly got dug up and moved with a note that basically said I should read the rules before I posted again. That was absolutely unnecessary, as far as I'm concerned. A PM, or simply moving the thread was all that was needed. Clark should have identifed himself as a moderator, as well. I think I've been a pretty stand up member of this forum, and deserve just a little courtesy...that's all.

I would like to suggest to the MODs the addition of a new forum here. I am stealing this from another forum I am a member of.
It could be called "The Hate Tank".
You would have to 18 or older to be allowed to enter.
I would disallow attachments and have nothing but text.
Flames would not only be allowed but encouraged.
What does everyone think?
PS- This is a joke. I am not being serious. This site is about pool and should be appropriate for the entire family. But man it would be fun!!!

I hope this was worked out with Mike. I wasn't there, of course, but I DO NOT like the tenor of what seems to have been communicated to you. I have great respect for good Mod's, but good Mod's don't stick their fingers in the faces of members who pose no problems. The members make this site successful. The Mod's are here to provide a clearly necessary, and much appreciated, service to the membership, not impress us unnecessarily with their self-perceived omnipotence. Apparently there is a learning curve...
btw - Has anyone noticed that the "Review Section" doesn't seem to be taking off rapidly? It may in the future, or it may not, but I bet it's the membership that makes that decision in the long run.
I seldom look there, I find what I want where I've always found it, and I like it that way. Speaks volumes to me now - just as it did before.

I vote to make Nathan the new Moderator of the Canadian Pool forum........what do you think Jerry and Mike?? He might be one of the most level headed curteous posters here.
I have a great idea for a new game on AZ, "Would You Like to be Mod For a Day." This way we all get the chance to send cool messages with vague threats implied. And when things start to heat up we can be the great mediator, and tone it down with one broad stroke. Ah, the power is intoxicating, the ability to be Lord of AZ for a day. Who wouldn't want such an opportunity. It's almost as good as being Shane for a day. But not quite.

I so agree here. Some can't handle fame some can't handle fortune, but when some get POWER they get ignorant. But I guess our government has taught people to be this way. But I will say AZBilliards is a great site 100% except for a few I guess.
I'm a member of a sports forum on another website, and on there you get out of line you get your ass handed to you in so many words, the MODERATOR's are cool as you could ask for sometimes you can even tell them where to go, and at the end of the day every one agree's and on the same page with each other. It has got to be the coolest place on the internet because if your power hungry or a cry baby you won't last 5 minutes.
