Hey AZer's,
Here is a very special cue Barry Szamboti just completed for me.
This cue is very unique. Maple forearm, Barbell cue, but Hoppe style.
The abalone was picked out special by Barry after going through alot of pieces looking for one's that would bring out the red in the veneers.
This is one of a kind and is a favorite of Barry's and mine.
Enjoy the pictures.
Best,
Ken Kerner

I like it!!!!!!!!

It's nice to see a new cue come out of the Szamboti shop once in a while. They sure are worth the wait. It's a classicly elegant design and I bet it hits whitey good.

Beautiful cue. I am usually not a fan of red veneers but this cue is dynamite. That piece of Birdseye looks pretty good too!

Congratulations,
Chris

Very unique Ken. Congrats on yet another beautiful Szamboti.

Edited to add: Seeing cues like this really make the days over here more enjoyable.

This is much like those awesome unique cues of Gus we see every once in a century... seriously, just like in the Blue Book 3rd edition where there are those fantastic merry widows - this cue surely will enrich Barry's already outstanding line-up of cues and will be craved by those 20 yr old guys of the future like I am right now, but maybe 40 years from now - not as if it wasn't extremely desirable right now!

Very unique cue, a true one-of-one ; congratulations.

this isnt my favorite Barry I have seen, how ever its still one heck of a cue. Perhaps the colors in the pic just arnt working for me, that must be it) I admire Barry because he sticks to what works and his heratage. I wish Simonis Cloth would do that, the junk they make now isnt suitable for car covers(but thats a different topic).

This cue would look great in my Barry collection. Soon as I start buying cues again I'm going to be activly seeking Barry and Gus's. I got a little thing going and if it goes there wont be a Szam on the market-its that strong, if it goes and it looks like it will. Sooooo when I do that I'm going to be reorganizing the collection.

Hey Eric,
Old School smooth black.
Barry made this cue with mostly Gus materials. The Maple is actually from Gus' wood from the 1970's... This is a special cue..
Best,
Ken
