Great tribute to a wonderful father. True leader in his craft. Thanks to Eric, Alton and Bob for this fine work. I know that Gus is looking down and smiling on Barry and his son too.

Wow, it is difficult for me to even come up with words to describe how awesome that cue and those incredible caps you made are. It gives me goosebumps thinking about how Barry has himself become a master at the art of cue making just like his father was, I am thinking that somewhere in the heavens Gus has a huge smile on his very proud face.

Alton & Bob - incredible collaboration on a fine set of caps

Eric - I always appreciate the person behind the artist. Thank you very much.

Mr Szamboti - This cue is a wonderful tribute to your father. As a father myself, the only thing in life that I want is to see my children succeed. Your father must be smiling.

Alton,

These caps are the nicest ones I have ever seen (and I have seen a few)!

Great design and execution. Selecting Bob Hergert for the scrimshaw work was a great idea. I have an ivory handled cue that he scrimmed in a highly detailed Blackfoot Hunting Party scene, and I have found his work to be flawless. Like yours.

Congratulations Eric.

Let me know if the cue ever goes for sale.

Will

thanks Will, this cue will never be for sale. I cant imagine the circumstances that I would have to be in to ever consider selling it, I would have to be dieing of cancer or something. I will be ringing your phone tomarrow afternoon sometime-I think I'm comming to FL for the cue show.

Thanks to everyone for he kind words,

And of course Alton for such a incrediable design of the caps, I'm certainaly not a artist and couldnt in a million years come up with such a beatiful design. I just asked for a cap with both Gus and Barry for the cue-Alton took over from there. I didnt own a cue that cost what these caps did for the first 14 years I played pool-LOL. But considering the value of this cue(which I have no idea what it is) the caps were a great deal to say the very least. WOW I am amazed. What I'm trying to figure out is where did all these nice pics of my cues come from?? I dont have them. I dont have the caps that are on the cue in the pic(I dont think)-I will check next time I'm in the vault. It's kinda cool to see pics of my cues(2 so far) of my cues that I didnt take. I saw pics of a few of my cars in Germany once when I was flipping through a german car magazine when I was in Germany-that was cool too. Its fun to see things just pop up in life.

Cue Caps

Alton, I have no idea how you manage to out do yourself every time! These are works of art. And what an incredibly sentimental cue to be a part of.

Congratulations on another amazing job!

I've been wondering for years who owned the ultimate cue by Barry, now that I know Eric, should you ever need a kidney I'll give ya one for it.... NO JOKE!
