So I am assuming the race is to eight?

There are a lot of names missing from the players. Where are all the Filipinos? Don't see Efren, Django, Lee Van, Orcullo, Alcano. Don't see Nevel, Hennessee, Bartram, and many others.
I thought the races would be longer as well. Don't get me wrong, not trying to complain. I realize this is a new tournament and won't have as big a draw for the first year.
I would love to see a big time 10 ball tourney like this be race to 21 single elimination. I bet you would get some epic matches to come out of that.
Kiamco is getting beat pretty handily by Hatch. 5-1 a few minutes ago.It only takes one Filipino in the field and you've found the favorite to get the cash. Watch out for this Jundel Mazon. He's a lower-tier player in the P.I. that just beat Archer today.

I'm most curious about the payout... Is this information listed anywhere?

Interesting stats.
In the US Open 10-Ball we play winner breaks and a longer race (to 9 last year).
8 seems pretty short race.
Only 14% break and run. WOW!!!

Here's another update of some data regarding the Masters 10-Ball matches shown on Accu-Stats.
Day 1 (Tuesday): Mazon defeated Wilke; Van Boening def. Fuller; Kennedy def. Bollman; Archer def. Mochizuki
- Out of the 51 games played in 4 matches, the breaker made at least one ball (and didn't foul) 29 or 30 times (I didn't see one of the breaks, but let's call it 30, or 59%).
- The player who broke won 18 out of the 51 games (35%).
- Number of break-&-runs: 5 out of the 51 games (10%).
- Oddity: Archer broke dry all 5 times he broke.
Day 2 (Wednesday): Grau def. Krah; Strickland def. Owen; Hatch def. Kiamco; Lombardo def. Sossei; Vidal def. Monday
- Out of the 61 games played in 5 matches, the breaker made at least one ball (and didn't foul) 36 times (59%).
- The player who broke won 30 out of the 61 games (49%).
- Number of break-&-runs: 8 out of the 61 games (13%).
- Oddity 1: In the Strickland/Owen match, the breaker lost 9 games in a row.
- Oddity 2: In the Vidal/Monday match, the breaker won 5 games in a row and then immediately lost 5 games in a row.
- Oddity 3: Jeremy Sossei is the only player in any of the 9 matches so far to make a ball (and not foul) on all of his breaks, and he lost the match 8-4.
- Oddity 4: Unless my eyes deceived me, Grau broke out of turn in the last game of his match (he was breaking in the odd-numbered games, but mistakenly also broke in the 12th and final game).
Day 3 (Thursday): Morra def. Shuff; Morris def. Pagulayan; Immonen def. Strickland; Davis def. Putnam
- Out of the 53 games played in 4 matches, the breaker made at least one ball (and didn't foul) 32 times (60%).
- The player who broke won 26 out of the 53 games (49%, again!).
- Number of break-&-runs: 10 out of the 53 games (19%).
- Oddity 1: Strickland posted a significantly higher Accu-Stats Average than Immonen, but Strickland lost. [Immonen broke better and had 3 B&R's to Strickland's 1.]
- Oddity 2: In the Davis/Putnam match, the breaker lost 10 out of the 12 games and neither player had a B&R.
- Oddity 3: In game 5 of his match, Morris had the 8-, 9-, and 10-balls on the table. He made the called 8-ball, and the 10-ball went in another pocket. He then pocketed the 9-ball before spotting the 10-ball!
Cumulative Results Through 3 Days
- Out of the 165 games played in 13 matches, the breaker made at least one ball (and didn't foul) 98 times (59%).
- The player who broke won 74 out of the 165 games (45%).
- Number of break-&-runs: 23 out of the 165 games (14%).
