Ronnie Allen challenge

Did you just say "Ten Ahead, One Pocket"? That has to be a joke. I'd put Little Al up against him if Ronnie has a backer. But it has to be a Race To Ten, not Ten Ahead.
P.S. Al is 74, going on 75 soon.

This is a direct answer to Ronnie's challenge. Very doubtful that we will get a response. I talked to Al. He is ready to play anywhere at anytime! Both players MUST post!

Now this would be a awesome match to stream. Truck get things moving!!

RA called me today and because he is computer illiterate, asked me to post a challenge for him on the forums. He said he will play anybody that is his age or older (72) a ten ahead race of One Pocket for $10,000 in Las Vegas. He was dead serious.

There are a bunch of players that would come out of their grave for $10,000. that may be 80 & 90 now.

Can Ronnie actually post the money?

No disrespect to Ronnie even tho he owes me a hundred he bit me for..lol...but I'm sure Ronnie would be getting staked.

Make it boxing and I'll gladly buy the ppv.

Alley Oop...

Al's a good old guy. Grumpy...but good. Definately tough one-pocket action for anybody young or old. Never got to watch "young Al" play, but I have never seen old Al lose either. When he plays nine ball he gets mad if he leaves the cue ball more than 2 feet from the object ball and says "I can't play this game anymore!". Like he's so out of line. We just laugh..

Geezerville

It might never end.
They may keep forgetting who's games are on the wire.

pt..<..who's getting there himself

Interesting concept. I was actually approached this week with a similar scenario. I'm 62 and my fellow geezer 58. We would play scotch doubles with anyone with combined age of 120. Keeps some of the younger heroes out of the mix? Ten ahead one pocket would never end. Gasoline will be $15 a gallon before they finish.

There you have it, when is it going down.

I know how good RA used to play, but I have no idea how he plays now.

What about Calvin Lawton from Topeka, KS.? I can't remember his exact age but I am sure he is over 72. He still plays pretty strong.
