Huge Stakes 1Hole!!!!

Pshss...170k isn't that much $!! I make that much in a decade!:o

And anyway, its a lot less after taxes...

LOL! I've made a million in my lifetime, easy. I just don't know where I spent it all.

Now it feels like I have one tire in the sand while I'm peddling furiously to get ahead. :embarrassed2:

According to what JAM just posted; Frost won $170,000 from Dippy in 2 sets and got paid? THAT is amazing to me ......... that's life changing money, is it not? I mean, for a pool player scuffling for a living?

Unless he scuffles over to the Whale Suite at ARIA.

well....

...I guess it depends on who holds the money; I can't help but think of that guy Archie Karras who supposedly ran a winning streak up to $40 million, way back when, had every $25,000 chip the Horseshoe Club owned in his box at the cashier's cage, and ended up losing it ALL back gambling, and recently I read that he was playing in low stakes poker games....sad.....

It could be.....but not guaranteed. Gamblers that can win that much in a session can also lose that much in a session. :)

wish I knew......

...what's happened/happening with the Dippy/Frost rematch; lastest I read, Frost won sets for $30K. $80K, then $100K, and negotiating next set for $200K....also it was mentioned that the rail bets for the $100K match amounted to $500K.......

OMGWTF just tweeted that Frost & Dippy are playing one pocket @ Pool Sharks today. 19-4, 10 ahead for $500k.

That has to be the most insane spot I've ever heard of...Anyone who can hold a cue should beat Frosty with that kind of weight.

If I had 500k to throw around, I would like to try some of that action...actually no, I would probably do something smart. :D

Actually, i think Frosty beat Dippy a while back spotting him 20-4.

This just in...

The grapevine says -- again, I don't know how reliable it is -- the game is on.

All the poker players who are local -- Corn Flakes, Daniel Negreaunu, Huck Seed, et al. -- will be present, sweating it on the rail.

The game, according to the grapevine, which is subject to check, is 19 to 4. :p

Supposed to start maybe 9 p.m., ET, but it is tentatively a "go." The stakes are higher than last set.

Please private message me the exact details! I love this pool smut! Just call me an action junky!

seems like...

...if what I read is true, it seems like the old "double or nothing" every set until I might get even; the prior referenced sets were for $30K, $50K, $100K, and then the next one is supposedly $200K.....it was posted that Frost had won the first 3 sets.......please update, anybody..?

where's sunny and mark when you need 'em?:)

and JCIN happens to be out of town too

c'mon someone there, take some phone video of what it looks like there.. a full 360 view

Wow what a happy ending for Scott if he can keep it all. So glad that they forgave each other enough to be able to even be in the same room together.

Haha, we're still here. Kinda busy with our own thing at the moment ;)

I hear some one in the action is looking for a cue and that contributed to matches being delayed. Not 100% sure, just what I hear from rail birds mumbling.
