Just curious, I was wondering, a cuemaker told me they finished a cue in 4 days, is that too fast? I thought it took a weeks to finish a cue properly...

You'll obviously get several different answers on this question.
Type of finish being used is going to be the number one determining factor. One could be finished in as quick as just a few days while others would be better stretched into a few weeks for optimal results.

It should be same day

And under $100

Oops sorry for the flipped answer, but ya it depends on the finish. I have heard that with UV it could be done in a few min. Takes me about 3 days with epoxy.

Referring to simply the final finish...as in the shiny clear on the outside?

Or....taking wood from a plank to something that won't resemble a boomerang??

What does "FINISHED" mean? Cutting, sanding, spraying, finish sanding & polishing????????????? Or JUST SPRAYING ?...JER

Yeah, UV. There are a lot of different UV finishes all of which harden in seconds but some of them don't buff out well enough, some are too soft, some will yellow with time, and some can really work well most of the time.

In my opinion it takes the same length of time to finish a cue properly that a Human Female takes to have a Baby starting from conception on both projects!!!!!!!

2 weeks isnt a bad turnaround id say anywhere from 1wk - 5wks is normal takes me about 3wks + most of the time. depending on what wood im finishing and what sealer i used.
