My dad just called me to say Bill Bell, better known as $Bill or by his AZ handle 'Hemicudas', passed away last night (June 21st) in his sleep. Bill was definitely one of the good guys and will be missed. My condolences go out to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I haven't been on this site for several years. I remember Hemi with much fondness. He always had good things to say and he seemed to know everyone. He will be missed by me.
 
Damn! I always enjoyed his posts. I will miss him. RIP my friend!!!

That is very sad,i remember him here well,down in the derby city threads i believe,i hope the very best for BILLS family,GOD BLESS BILL,YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN HERE AT AZ bill!

My condolences also go out to him and his family, I wish them well in these sad and troubled times.

Iam very sorry guys i had BILL mixed up with kybill9 in the dcc threads,but anyway i do remember HEMICUDAS here posting at az with the rest of us azers,GOD BLESS YOU MR BILL!
 
One of the first guys on AZ that PMed me and it made me feel important. RIP $Bill You will be missed.

So sad to hear this. Bill was a good friend and a great guy. Was thinking of him the other day.My condolences to Trudy and Ray. I was lucky enough to spend many hours(years) at the pool hall just listening to stories. He should have written a book. Would have been a hit. Wow, I'm sad.:(
 
Bill was one of my favorites on the forum. Condolences to all his family and friends.
 
Sorry to hear this. Bill was one of my favorite and most respected posters on here when I first joined up. He was really knowledgeable of many players, especially from the south. He also had a knack for dealing with forum trolls and letting them know they were getting out of line. I wish I could've personally met him.

RIP, hemicudas.
