TAR 21: Pagulayan vs Van Boening. THE REMATCH !!!

This is great. Thanks JCIN for all you do. Two of the best playing a great format on a table that does match their speed.

But, this is scheduled on the US Amateur National Championship Qualifier weekend. The Donny/SVB match on was during the Championship in Tampa so I got to watch one day in person. I guess Atlanta is out of the question?

Has anyone tried to stream one of these higher definition events on a Droid? If not, I'll still try anyway.

You know that table you have in your apt, you have pics of it on your facebook. Lil Brooklyn is playin on it, those rails look dead as F$#*. I believe it when cobra commander sais he refused to work on that junk table.

Hahaahahaha I begged him and begged him. :)

Is the magic rack to try to offset the tight pockets?

I thought the break may be the advantage for Shane with a normal rack, but with the magic rack I think it's a toss up in break.

Do me a favor and take this bullshit out of my thread.

I have waited for three years to make this match happen. A lot of people want to see it and no one cares who put the table together, set up the cameras or built the lights. They care about the match.

Go make your own thread about how awesome you are and leave this one alone.

Edit to add: Just want to say one thing about Cleary. I've seen him pay bar tabs bigger than what you charge to do a table so I doubt he backed out of any deals with you. You are talking about the wrong guy.

Mainly its a convenience thing. Race to 100 is a lot of pool and the Magic Rack takes all the trouble out of racking. Both guys like it and it's better for the people watching. Its no fun for spectators to see guys fussing with the rack for 10 minutes between games and no fun for the player to have to bend over fooling with the rack for a long session. Magic Rack gets rid of all that.

I mean, look at those rails and cloth! No wonder cobra kai refused to work on this junk. And who uses those junk racks anymore, where is the magic rack? And by the way she's racking those balls, I assume she's going to play one pocket because the 8 isn't in the middle, who would ever play one pocket on a table with those junky rails and big bucket pockets?

The size contrast in that pic reminds me of Nasty playing on a bar table.

I have visions of what happened to Oscar and John Morra on the minus 4" pockets at Hard Times. The table won that match.

Jay this is one of the few times I ever disagree with you. Oscar won that match simply by controlling it 100%. The table played a huge factor obviously, but Oscar outplayed John by a large margin.

Funny that I should know a little something about that...and the fact that you can't get a 9ft ProAm from Diamond directly with 4 1/8" corner pockets...and I should also know a little about the kind of table work one can expect from local table mechanic's in...and around Vegas;)...and the work I've already done on a few tables in that area...including changing the corner pockets on Artie Bodenorfter's 9ft ProAm to 4" pockets, which by the way...are tighter than Fatboy's 9ft ProAm. Tight pockets are not just about being smaller...it's ALSO about how they play...and I KNOW how to make them play right;)...do you?

Glen

Has this been answered yet???

Is the table in JCIN's studio set up that way now.

Alex and Shane are a different, straighter shooting, ball game than Oscar/John... Oscar/John both need the 8,9 playing 10ball.

You have helped me out in the past so if you want to call me I'll tell you all about it. Glenn can go piss up a rope. I don't discuss who I do business with or how in public.
