I could be wrong but I personally believe Shane's 10 ball break in a real long set is too much for anybody in the world to overcome even if they outplay him by a small margin.
Alex pretty much proved that. The break was the key factor in that match. At the end of the match Alex pretty much stated that the break was the reason he lost. IMO Alex DID outplay SVB by a small margin in almost all of the aspects of the game except the break where SVB gained a HUGE advantage.
There are a few players in the world that I think might have the break and the game to go with SVB even in a long set but they are all from the Philipines or Taiwan.

Not even close, yes SHANE's break is the nuts, but Alex did not outplay him at all. Alex did not kick well or get out when he was supposed to alot.
Daz runs out of gas in long sets and loses interest. I watched it happen and that is exactly what he said happened and that he would never play that way again.
So Shane will just have to continue being the best in the world in long sets that actually matter.
Who were the 2 players that beat Shane in the US Open???
i always thought guys that say "i lost interest" were just making excuses for not being mentally tough enough.....
And yes, the euros don't like the race to 100. I don't think Daz wins a race to 35 though.
darren said to me earlier today that he wont race to 100 again, after i mentioned the same thing about playing shane, so wont happen im afraid.
