For sure. Keith is all about playing and loves to shoot in front of a large crowd. The more the merrier. :D

Holy Crap people!!!! Who cares if CW is the captain!!! No offence to Nick Varner but does being the captian really change the outcome of the game?? The only factor could be picking the right players to play at certain times. You really dont think CW can handle that?? Sh*t even I can see who is playing on top or has an edge over others and Im far from a pro. How many on here can feel players games?? I know you knwo what I mean. Its really up to the players to PLAY their game!! Not who plays whom. They're all top guns and anybody can beat anybody.

Im sure CW will do just fine and a lot of people on here should give him a chance instead of burying him before getting on the plane. Its really sad that their a bunch of shitheads on here. Almost racist really!!
 
To me there was only one obvious choice and that would be Varner. Here's a short possible list in proper order that would have been better than CW.

Varner
Davenport
Strickland
Rempe
Kennedy
Sigel
CJ Wiley

Any of those would be far better and more deserving than Charlie!

Because the role of CAPTAIN is an HONOR, It should go to an HONORABLE person, plain and simple. There is a reason so many people have distain for the guy. It's not just made up.

It has nothing to do with racism, but I can see how you would come to that conclusion.

If you had been around, active in the pool world, say in the early 2000s during the formation of the UPA professional pool tour for men, it may enlighten you about why some -- not all -- people have formed their opinions.

There are some other incidents that may be considered unusual, for lack of a better word, that I won't detail on this thread out of respect for Charlie Williams. He is a human being with feelings. I can see how this thread is going nowhere in that respect, and I wouldn't want to be CW reading it, either.

I'd like to believe that people can change their ways, and one thing for sure, nobody on God's green earth is perfect and without sin.

OK. American Airlines allowed me to credit my non-refundable Vegas fare to another flight. Now if I can just get a refund from NYNY I can get away from this nightmare scot free. I wouldn't go to this thing now for any reason. What a horrible choice. I thought Matchroom followed pool? They must not know anything at all.

Well said that man, finally Someone on here has the balls to stand up & speak common sense something that is severely lacking on this entire forum because all people want to do is shout people down call them morons & adopt a holyer (sp) than though attitude. Makes me sick.
 
Congratulations to Charlie Williams. He seems to have a knack for bringing the best out of players and this will be a great opportunity for him to work with some great players.
