I know this should be in the NPR but we all love Joe. Looks like he's going back to rehab. http://www.nbc.com/fear-factor/

So what do you think the chance of having Earl on the show? That would be EPIC!

Joe - "Earl how about you eat the dung-covered spider?"
Earl - "You see these choppers F_____T. They are for eating meat. I jumped a table length shot against Efren...How strong is that?!"

I always thought I'd win that show if I were on it. It's not like they'd have you eat something that actually HURT you. If they gave you maggots to eat, it's totally safe.

I wish Joe would have an AZB fear factor episode. I'm in. I'd donate 1/2 of my winnings to charity. Funny thing is, by the end of the show, 2/3 of the contestants would be broke betting on the side.

I like Joe, I really do, but his Fear Factor show is idiotic, he should stick with the UFC, get Bas Ruten as his sidekick on the announcing, and then spend all the rest of his time promoting pool and making it bigger then soccer worldwide.

<edit> Joe, about the whole idiotic show thing, I might have been a bit harsh and you could kick the crap out of me so I was just kidding dude! :)

That show was a joke. It was for weak minded contestants that put on a good "show" for the audience. Kind of like a face and a heel in wrestling. They cant feed you anything that will harm you and they cant put your life at risk in any of them crazy stunts. Take those people and put them through the Navy SEAL or Army Ranger basic training.

OK it's not masterpiece theater but it's better than 80% of the dribble on TV. People watch American Idol, General Hospital and Jerry Springer.

Hell the Love Boat ran for 10 seasons.

Meh, we still have Deadwood, Rome, Dexter, The Wire, M.A.S.H., Oz, Six Feet Under, Game of Thrones, Firefly, Frasier, Cheers, Quantum Leap, Most of the Star Trek series, Kindred the Embraced, ect...

Sure Fear Factor is better then the lowest of the low, but it is still in that lower half of TV Tripe.

The man's gotta pay the bills...and fear factor isn't that bad. It's marketed for people who are competitive. Studies show that people with a competitive personality enjoy watching tv that has competition with the participants. That's why Survivor did so well.

Be happy for the guy. At least he doesn't have to sell off all his cues like half the folks on azb to make rent.

The guy gets a job and all I see is everyone knocking on him.

Hope Joe finds the real road to recovery .Celebs have a harder time balancing the one thing that stands in alot of peoples way EGO.Humility is as essnetial to recovery as food and water are to life.

And this is why we read the thread before we post........

Is this a joke thread?
Rogan is a well known pot smoker, his show on Opie and Anthony is all about drugs.....He sure seems to have his pot use under control.....

Lol

Ooops yeah you got me that time JCIN . Was not paying close enough attention. I guess "rehab" has something to do with the show, all I watch is Dexter and TAR

Good news good show...I love to see what people will do for a little money. Funniest part is the guy that almost ate enough to make it...lol

I'm not a big fan of "Fear Factor," mainly because it scares me, but my other half loved it. He watched every single episode, and sometimes I had to sit there with him and watch the people eat cockroaches. Ew!

Joe Rogan is 'da man when it comes to quick wit. It's evident that he is highly intelligent, due to his ability to come with comedic interactions on the spur of the moment. Wish I had his talent! :p

It would be nice if they had a pool episode on "Fear Factor." I actually think they did one time, if memory serves me right.
