old morri's were dope but the kamui is the better tip now. the new moori's seem to glaze over a lot
Hey guys and gals. I'm sure this has been beaten to death.....
I play with a Kamui hard. There is a local cuemaker that will install a Moori H for $18.
I've never had issues with Moori M, but never tried the hard.
Any advice?
thanks.

try an onyx tip from tiger!!
Curious how people get to try so many different tips. Is this all on the same cue ? If so, how do you do it ? Doesn't it take a while to wear down a tip ?
Kamui hard is my favorite tip

Can you please explain why do you, or people in general, prefer it over a soft tip?
I am using Kamui SS, never even tried a hard tip. For some reason I always think of miscueing more often when thinking about a hard tip![]()
Sorry to semi-hijack your thread OP, but I didn't feel my question needed a thread on it's on.
For what it's worth, my friend used Moori soft, then changed to Kamui SS and prefers it over Moori.
Cheers.

I've tried all the Kamui tips, Black and Brown, old and new, hard and soft. I liked the medium Black the best. Right now I'm playing with a Kamui Black SuperSoft. They all glaze over and require constant work to keep from miscuing.
I'm ready to move on to a different tip, but the Moori reviews don't sound any better.
Best,
Mike
