TAR Top Female in the World vs Bartum

The thing is that race to 100 has nothing to do with tournament-format and as such her skills have not been tested yet. The potential is there however...

I've never really gotten this idea. Who says a player must play long races to validate their skills? This is nonsense of the highest order. Her skills have been tested often.

The race recommended in the original post is, in fact, 25 games, not 100, and it's safe to assume that Jasmin has, on several occasions, had to play for hours and hours at a time in either WPBA or Eurotour play.

And, of course, Jasmin has a big fan base and would sell more TAR pay per view packages than Chen.
 
Is this Chen Si Meng that we're referring to?

would bet my right hand on Chris if they're going even to 75 or higher
 
I've never done any internet gambling but if a match such as this ever occured and somebody wanted to give me their money I would bet on Bartrum. Unfortunately, all of the people that say the top women can compete with the men are only referring to matches that are essentially coin flip type scenerios (9 ball race to 7 or 9). In a longer race like this NOBODY with half a brain would bet on the woman.

I would still pay to watch it.

I don't know either of these people so my opinion means nothing. I'm just curious to hear more about the ladies playing with no clothes. Do they have to use a bridge or can they climb on the table? No matter. I'm buying one. I just have to find a way to beat my wife to the mail box. If she catches me she'll beat me with it. Any volunteer's for cameramen?

Why would that guy say something about a drug test for Bartrum pretty uncool but of course with a post count of 10 and the internet being an open pro hate speech place I guess that is a bout typical. I think Bartum plays on the natural I think Chris does not require chemical additives to play high level pool.

I think Bartrum beats any of the women. We have not seen it yet so good luck to the ladies of course but I would bet on the smooth criminal.

I would buy this perhaps 40% think it would be an awesome undercard to another big match.

I agree with the 25 game sets or less. I don't know why this 100 games keeps coming up. TAR found it too long and changed to the 25 game sets. Johnnyt

I agree. I think Jasmin would have a chance and I'm also not familiar with Chen's game
 
I have no horse in this race but wonder if most of the guys betting on Bartrum have actually seen him some of the proposed opponents play or if this is a testosterone bet?

Remember that Chen SI Ming is coached by Wu Chia Qing so I am sure she plays him regularly so Bartrum is probably not a mental threat.

I agree that Jasmin vs. Bartrum would sell more tickets. She is cetainly my favorite female player. However, to bet on Jasmin in a long race format, I would have to ask for at least 4 to 1 on my money...

Is Si Meng expected to be in the US because there is a .001% she would make the trip for just a 1k guarantee. A 24 hr trip with 16 hours in the air@ $1300 and no Title on the line-never happened.

Jasmin way more likely but still very unlikely.

The thing that sold me on Chris was watching him in a long race with Darren Appleton, race to 100 10 ball. Chris was outmatched, outgunned and outmoved on day 1, behind 50 - 39.

Day 2 he Chris kept birddogging, crept closer and closer, caught him at 68 and got behind and past him in the 80's. Darren started missing unexpectedly, then Chris ground past him and cruised in for the win.

He may be a good choice for the PPV audience to book, but he is not a good choice for a top female player to pick in a long race. I would like to see the match, but I would be betting on Chris. It would be hard to get a bet down in my opinion.

Chris Bartram is respected for being an honorable money player.
His name is also in the public domain...so he can expect SOME scrutiny.

But I don't think it's fair to malign someone like Chris in a speculative
manner from the anonymity of an avatar. Like you, I use an avatar....
..but if I made a serious accusation, I would use my proper name.

It would draw alot more money if Chris would play a more well known female . I think Jasmin would be alot better choice , she has a good game and is not bad on the eyes !
How does Ming play anyway ?

ming will drill jasmine. would not matter though - there is no woman that plays chris's level. if they do happen to play i will go broke
