Bartram is probably in the top 15-20 in the states for sure, and gambling wise probably a top 10 player. The guy has to much heart to ever count him out.

The 8 in 9 ball is almost nothing. The 8 in 10 ball is something, but the 10 ball break would probably work against Chen in that case.

I think she would have a better chance against Bartram even than against those guys with the 8. Not that I like her odds in either game.

no they have no chance to beat rodney or darren
with the 8 in a long race or ahead set.

Being totally honest no, he is probabably outside of the top 200. There are likely well over 100 players in Asia (China, Taiwan, Philipines, Indonesia) who are better. There are likely about 100 guys in Europe that play better then him as well. In America he "might" eak into the bottom of the top 10, but guys like SVB, Deuel, Hatch, Morris, Archer, Jones, Gabe, Dechaine, there are certainly guys considered better.

Now that is not to say he does not shoot great, if you are the 220th best pool player in the world that is playing at an extremely high level. But there IS a huge gap between him and the guys in the top 20, huge.

As for Siming Chen, I just don't know her game well enough to have an opinion here on a possible match with Bartrum.

Ouschan is still too young and has a LOT OF CHOKING moments to survive this matchup. Give her a few years - she certaintly has a good break for a woman.
 
I watched SI gamble on three consecutive nights in Star Billiards against some real good PI players and she got there. She was only playing races to 11 but she still got there.

I am not sure where that puts here against Bart, but she was on a slow tight damp table and all she did was run out. She knows all the shots and protects herself well. When she breaks 10 ball the second ball goes in the side and she is shooting at the 1 in the top corner just like the guys.


Bart needs to play real good to win, but that's expected.

I was'nt clear about your post.
Jay told me that she could beat many american pro players.
She is only 18 as you may know!

I think that actually works against her, her age. It does mean in the future she has plenty of time to get even better. But at 18 she probably hasn't been in dozens of high pressure tournaments and money matches, and that unfamiliar situation can cause your game to drop a little from nerves. Whereas bartrum's been in the situations hundreds of times by now and will probably be able to just play his normal game at full speed.
 
The question isn't how long would it take chris to beat si meng a 12 ahead. The question is how long would it take him to beat her a 12 ahead giving her the last 3.

I don't know if chris would give her the last 3 but I think if he did he would win. If Chris doesn't want to give it to her then I would like to give her the last 3 playing 10ball. I don't match up very good. Bring her here and I'll give her the last 3 and you can win a bunch. This guys feels like betting on me and doesn't care if I lose. Somebody should take this offer. It's free money.
