Jay, even when I disagree with your thoughts, I generally see where you're coming from and have a plausable idea of where you're coming from. But in saying he is top 50 in the USA do you mean he's like top 40-50? If so, I would love to see your list of who's ahead of him.
Exactly what I was thinking. Name the top 45 U.S players, then let me pick one, then let me offer 5-1 on money playing a 20 ahead against chris. Then name the top 15 americans, let me pick one to play chris a 15 ahead, then let me bet it all on that as well.

And this is always the problem with the man v woman match. The skill gap at the top level is just too wide. At least in rotation. Theres an argument to made for 14.1 I guess but its a thin one.
I think to get an even match with a top woman would mean a male opponent who would not draw that well. Put a top woman against a top male who would draw well and most people would just assume it would be a complete whitewash.
If anyone wants to sponsor a match with a woman playing a top man TAR will make a production deal to stream it but I dont see us footing the whole bill and rolling the dice on such a match just to see if it works. There are lots of other streamers out there maybe they have more gamble than I do.

Why bother with the test? Most drug are our of your system in 24 hours with the exception of pot. The drugs that would help the player can easily be hidden and pot doesn't help your game.
I'm no 9 ball fan, in fact I don't know if I could hang in there for that many 9 ball games no matter who was playing. 9 ball matches are a dime a dozen and get redundant.
But .... here's an idea. Scotch doubles 9 ball or even 8 ball. Guy and girl vs guy and girl.
Perhaps even 4 sets of teams by invitation, drawing partners out of a hat for the event and playing for a top prize. Now IMO that would be a fun enjoyable evening of viewing. Various matches could be scheduled maybe on weekends and as word got out, the viewing numbers would go up as the event went on.

Bartram is probably in the top 15-20 in the states for sure, and gambling wise probably a top 10 player. The guy has to much heart to ever count him out.
