My new Ginacue custom player.................
As a lot of you know, Ernie has just finished a batch and now will be dedicating himself to the construction of his 50th anniversary cue. I received 2 cues in this batch because I thought it may be one of my last chances. The other cue is posted in another thread.
When I decided to work with Ernie on my new player, I wanted a cue that everybody will know it's a Gina and at the same time very elegant. Ernie made this cue and delivered every exact detail I wanted.
Gorgeous honey birdseye. Snakewood points. Ivory short points. Lost of silver (veneers and upgraded rings) He picked the absolute perfect color lizard wrap. Feels like silk. I have been playing with lizard for years and love the feel. 4-12.75 mm shafts with a taper longer than his norm. The cue came in at a perfectly balanced 19.2 oz. A true custom cue!!
This is a cue I hope to be playing with for years to come.
Many thanks to Ernie.............I have so enjoyed working with him on some neat stuff over the last several years. He is genius.
