My new player turned out perfect. You'll never guess the cuemaker. :)

My new Ginacue custom player.................

As a lot of you know, Ernie has just finished a batch and now will be dedicating himself to the construction of his 50th anniversary cue. I received 2 cues in this batch because I thought it may be one of my last chances. The other cue is posted in another thread.

When I decided to work with Ernie on my new player, I wanted a cue that everybody will know it's a Gina and at the same time very elegant. Ernie made this cue and delivered every exact detail I wanted.

Gorgeous honey birdseye. Snakewood points. Ivory short points. Lost of silver (veneers and upgraded rings) He picked the absolute perfect color lizard wrap. Feels like silk. I have been playing with lizard for years and love the feel. 4-12.75 mm shafts with a taper longer than his norm. The cue came in at a perfectly balanced 19.2 oz. A true custom cue!!

This is a cue I hope to be playing with for years to come.

Many thanks to Ernie.............I have so enjoyed working with him on some neat stuff over the last several years. He is genius.

I really really envy you...you have the nicest Ginas...and this is no exception.

Playing cue?!! WOW! I can't wait to see your break cue.

I've seen Jimmy's Gina collection. Trust me,
Jimmy's playing cue would be the center-piece of
most people's Gina collection.

Awesome playing cue Jimmy! Congratulations on the pickup...

wow Jimmy, super nice Cue you get:eek::grin: but now its time to send it over and I will ride them hard:p:thumbup:
Its nice to live near a Legend a pick up the Cues that are not spoken for when you like it.
Thanks for sharing,
Ralf

That's a really nice one, I also have one in his current batch, probably will receive in next 2 weeks

I'm starting to think you like snakewood.

Another wonderful Gina.

Enjoy!

I was not aware that Ernie built just players cues ----- I'm still not sure that I'm aware of it! Very nice "players"? cue.

cue

Hi Jimmy, Hope all is well. Sweet looking cue! You amaze me on your ability to design cues and work with the cuemakers. The cues always look great.Hope to see you one of these days and hit some balls.

Jimmy, very very nice cue, I have about 2000 hours of play time on a wrap that looked similar to yours when it was new(except mine is black) and the more you use it the better it feels, it takes at least a year to break in the wrap, it wont stay shiny but it will feel so good. enjoy
