Which Bonus Ball team is the favorite to win on paper?

Which team do you think will win it all?

I may have missed it, but I couldnt find an option for "who cares?". I'll keep looking.

That's the default option -- just don't open any thread with a title like "Which Bonus Ball team is the favorite to win on paper?"

I had to go with Atlanta Scorpions since it looks like a very strong team followed by Chicago Rockets, I have to say it was very hard to pick just one with having friends on 5 different teams!

Cr

Chicago Rockets, two of em are Already Fast, it will all come down to time on the clock, these guys have the right mix.

The majority of regular posters on the AZB main forum know the players. I'm from New York, and I have a friend on every team other than the New York team. Surely you have your favorite players and you'll pull for them.

pal obama won why you mad?

I think you need to get Carlot and Disco, fly out to Vegas for six months and snap this thing off.

Bartram's Bombers for the win son.

Just to keep this post on topic: I don't see how you pick a winner because no one knows who plays Bonus Ball the best yet. Put all these same teams up in a one pocket or nine ball or bank tournament and you get three different answers. Its just a wild ass guess until you see all the guys play the game.

As an example a guy like my homeboy Klatticus might not be viewed as a huge threat in a high level one pocket event but could be a big factor in any rotation game. Right now I don't think even the players really have a firm grip on where they stand yet. The new game and format could allow for some "new" guys to stand out.

Personally I'm holding out for the Bart, Carlot and Disco triumvirate to storm the gates and earn their place in history.

Why would you want to force your players and alternates to choose by scheduling these Bonus Ball events at the same time as Turning Stone?.., I would think many of these players would want to play in both events.

You're right, they might want to, but they won't be able to. However, the Bonus Ball players were aware that there would be scheduling conflicts from time to time, and they chose to sign on with Bonus Ball anyway. There will be no time during any part of the year to run a league season that does not conflict with some tournament, somewhere.

That's the problem, I have favorites on 5 different teams.

Exactly right, Justin. And this is where the fun begins. Speculating about who might be the best at anything, and then sitting back and watching the battle to see who was right, is what makes things fun for those of us who can't get in there and do.

Being the referee, i have the inside info and close up of who adapted and who might struggle.

Being the referee i get to be close up, for what will be a great league with some great games.

me carlot and svb on a team disco caddy.

Atlanta may be the best team...

But Houston has veteran leader who is disciplined in all games and will bring a lot to the team.Justin and Chip play all games well and have a ton of firepower..Bonus ball being an all around game.I will bet they do well..They are my pick after Atlanta..But it will be close.

Shane isn't going to play so you can forget all of that. I'm playing. Its the three of us and Cleary will caddy for us. I got our logo on deck, we just need the word from BonusBall along with hotel and flight, and were there.

Check out the NEW Bonusball team for 2012. .. . . ..

How come Cleary's head doesn't look like it was photo shopped on there?
