Please. Stop! There is nothing wrong with the games we already have... infact, we have too many games. Just... please... stop.

7ball, 8ball, 9ball, 10ball, rotation, 1pocket, 14.1, banks, bonusball, texas bumps, one pocket, american rotation, 6pocket GOD DAMNIT!!!!!!... just stop.

I know everyone thinks pool isn't popular because games for this reason or that reason so they think you can change the game and it will work. Let me tell you a little secret. It won't. IT WON'T! You're still bunting around balls on a pool table while the crowd is silent and it's like watching grass grow.

Please, just stop making up new games.

That said, 9ball and 10ball is too easy for pros. 15ball (with 9ball/10ball rules is the answer) lol

I don't think any game is going to be the savior of pool.

But I like the new games and the old, I like that things evolve. I wouldn't get angry about it, just don't take part if you don't like it.

Don't forget Cowboy!

I like having lots of options when I'm playing but I agree that making new games or changing the rules of existing games won't do anything to bring new people to the game.

...and cribbage, oddball, poker pool..etc.....

Trying to turn 9/10 ball into a long game looks to me like bar rules...
...play straight pool and one-pocket if you can't take the heat.

I have just submitted trademark forms on my new game.

Everyone, get ready for the most exciting game ever played on a pool table!

Introducing:

Cleary Ball!

*Rules, details, and tournament schedules to be released once construction is complete.

Dont know if this is related but besides all the new games being created, we also have what seems to be a shift back to the 10 footers. Now we get to not only play 7-ball, 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball, rotation, american rotation, banks, 14.1, bonus ball, one pocket, etc. but also get to play them on bar boxes, 8 ft, over sized 8 ft, 9 ft, and now back to 10 ft tables. Not necessarily a complaint by me but it starts to paint a picture of why there will never be a universally recognized governing body for the pool world.

Can someone besides myself mention Einstein Nine?
Lol
It might be time to drop my website.

I'll have you know I once briefly discussed the possibility of playing it with my buddy several months ago. We went on to play cribbage I believe, but, keep the dream alive!

Believe it or not I think that speed pool may be the answer. At least to get the outsiders interested in it to begin with. More excitement. Then maybe slowly slide them into playing 8-ball without a clock. Just sayin.

8 Ball, 10 Ball, 1 Pocket, 14.1 for the masochists and 9 Ball banks for people from Kentucky.

All other games should be wiped from the face of the planet.

JIHAD!!!!!
