It is getting hot and humid all of a sudden, isn't it? Crazy weather. I keep turning my heat on, then my AC, back to my heat, and now I have the AC on again.
If you like Paul Newman and Green Mountain, I'm guessing you have a Keurig coffee machine. :smile:
I tried the Keurig, but I went back to the gold cone standard coffee maker.
My daughter is using a Verismo, which makes cappies. She loves it -- when she's not going to Starbucks, that is. She drinks way, way too much coffee.
I'm down to one cup in the morning, and that's it. Once in a blue moon, I'll go out and get a cappie at Starbucks, but it interferes with my sleep. I'm drinking cherry juice now every night for sleep, Michelle's Miracle. :embarrassed2:

I don't know Gabe personally at all, but that sounds like a plausible story to me.
I dabble a little in coins, and fakes are getting harder to spot. They would need to be taken out of their plastic sleeves to verify authenticity, which is the whole purpose of the graded sleeves. Someone who doesn't deal coins would probably assume that they're legit because the grading companies are supposed to verify before wrapping the coins.
Taking them out of the sleeves would mean having to spend the $$$ to have them graded and sealed again.
Sounds like Gabe found a good opportunity to make a little money flipping some coins, and caught a bad break by buying them from a crook. Could happen to any of us.

funny thing is the ONLY good espresso i have ever had in America in on North Shore Hawaii-go figure, A guy there has a roaster and shop, its good as Europe.

To heck with coffee. Im coffeed out by 7:30 mornings . How bout a weather report. Now were talking. Virginia Beach, Va., skies are sunny, 0% chance of rain . Current temperature of 84 degrees with a high expected of 89. No rain in the forecast for 4-5 days. The farmers could use a good rain. The fields are looking barren. Corn is currently at about 18 inches. Soy beans only weeh-2 weeks in the ground. Lets hear from other AZers. Hows your weather ?
Yeah, we just got new sod in our back yard a month or so ago, and we need more rain right now. They touched up the side yards with new sod yesterday, and I have to stand outside and water it until we get more rain.
At the time of this writing, it's 83 degrees in D.C = HOT AND HUMID!
Back yard looks GREAT with new sod, except now there's little yellow spots every where the dog peed.

But I love the bottled starbucks mocha frappucinos they sell everywhere these days.
More than the ones made in an actual starbucks actually.
I think I get one pretty much every day. They're like chocolate milk with a hint o coffee.
There's also a korean bakery that sells pretty good iced mochas.
For some reason I just can't get into hot drinks, especially in this weather.
If that corn and soy is Monsanto product (90% chance it is), then it doesn't need water. It's genetically engineered to grow quickly, not need pesticide (it manufactures its own pesticide throughout its lifetime, even after you eat it), and will overtake/kill other crops.
Now, about the weather, hot and muggy up here in NY -- it's 90 degrees (I'm not kidding!). Yowza, a hot one up here and May's not even over yet.

them's fightin' words right now, i been in Germany for 2 months and had 3 warm days in 2 months, suppose to be beautiful here usually is ths time of year. i'm on my 2nd cold in 3 weeks(i never get colds), its freezing and raining here, lower 40's GRRRRRRR i'm a California boy anything below 60 and i got a problem.

My brother is in Cathedral City/Palm Springs, and 80 degrees there is like a cold front, according to him. He's used to 110 degrees.
