I'm sure we can all disclose slanderous stuff about other people if it would only help us feel better about ourselves......maybe it does in the
short term, but ends tragically.
I guess I have empathy in my heart for Johnny and all the players because I have an outside perspective - it's not difficult to see how they are being oppressed unnecessarily. The game would be generating millions more a year with a reorganization plan implemented.
The life it takes to get to be a champion player is not the "softest" most gentle road to take.
Many of us have been robbed at gunpoint, stabbed, double steered, dumped, knocked, slandered, etc. so not getting paid a couple weeks salary is almost a laughing matter (most of us have never had a salary
) .
The key element (that I believe essential) is players are trying new ventures, and not bowing down to their oppressors, and that takes a lot of courage and heart, I salute all of them for that. When they continue to be willing to "break the mold" they will have success.....this is how it works in real business, few people succeed right away.
Though the process of developing this "heart" we learn some important things about life, people and core human issues - through the game.....the game performing well under adversity and/or adverse conditions.
Someone that hasn't walked in their shoes would not relate to the satisfaction of overcoming specific obstacles and identified challenges.....it's not about money, it's about far more valuable attributes and qualities. 'The Game is our Teacher'
