As a reference, please find the attached bullet-list that outlines everything in the order in which it happened:
- Relocated to Vegas for the job
- Worked for 6 weeks then stops season
- Only paid 2 weeks checks - no deductions or anything and he forgot my checks no one else's
- WPBL wouldn't provide me the contract we signed and continued to say I was a contractor, yet ordered to do what they said
- WPBL provided my hours and provided me with a uniform
- WPBL has everyone in the company as a contractor
- Was given constant abuse by colleagues if I complained about not being paid,
- According to Nathan i am the one in the wrong and the most hated man in pool for complaining
- I have numerous Facebook messages from staff and players saying I am out (fired) - which was retribution for complaining about not getting paid
- Was left homeless as I couldn't pay rent and had to sleep in my car
- Forced by WPBL President to take ball sets in lieu of money, and signed paper agreeing to such under duress
- The WPBL then hires a new referee from England instead of flying me from East coast. This is confusing how the WPBL can afford to pay her when they flat-out robbed me blind and didn’t pay me for the work I had performed
- They changed the re-start dates to November, as Nathan and Dave's visa was to run out the 14th, not to accommodate anybody else but themselves.
- I learned the WPBL “Ring Girls” were also not paid
- Players were forced to fly to Vegas to get what they were owed and then play for $300 a match instead of the $1000 originally contracted.
I contacted Larry and numerous other staff who flat out ignored me trying to resolve it amicably, eventually i got a lawyer who has now contacted the labor commission who are now investigating.
