Just take the travel time, the time difference (Jet Lag) and the mentioned "feeling safe"

So glad that Darren had gave this post and says alot of a true professional for his reasons. See Hatch, Rodney, Strickland just acting liek kids woofing on facebook games they will never play. USA team was an absolute circus. But you've called out the rest of the world since USA cant win any major tournaments and SVB wont play outisde the TAR studio,lets see who legitimately steps up. Agree, that Shaw will play for the cash, Boyes, Melling and don't forget only Boyes was on Mosconi team and many thought he shouldn't have been (instead of toastie)

Dennis offered to play Daz again in Las Vegas recently and he declined, as he just explained why. Hatch likes the long race format though. I heard his interview on TAR and he said the reason he likes the race long is, if you get stuck 10 games you can still come back and win. The long race format takes endurance and staying power..I doubt DH would want to play short races. Darren seems like he is in great physical condition, so I'm not sure why he doesn't like the long race format. I have always heard the longer the race, the more often the best player wins. That's the reason I always play people races to 5, because I'm never the best player and it gives me the best chance for a miracle
. I believe they have only gambled once race to 100 10 ball and Hatch won that fairly easily. I don't believe he has ever played Rodney Morris, at least not that I have heard..I have seen him play SVB in 10 ball once on TAR, so I'm not sure of Darren's record with him. Whatever happens, it should be exciting...
