Name the New Club and Win a Cue

Updated fav's

Firstly I want to thank everybody immensely for the enthusiasm you have all shown towards this contest and my partner's and my business venture. I really had no idea it would garner so many cool names - and now i wish I was opening a half a dozen venues to incorporate more of these great club names.

I have spoken to my partner, John and asked him to start reviewing the names and select the ones he likes the most. I will be doing the same. Then we will cross reference the names from our two lists and compile a short list that I will post in the next few days.

Lastly I think this is going so well I want to shorten the contest time limit and get this OB cue sent out by Christmas. It will obviously have no chance of arriving by Christmas but at least the winner can expect to receive it very early in the new year. Sound good?

All the very best to you all, a safe, healthy and happy holidays!!

Thanks for the fun

It's truly been fun racking my brain ( no pun intended) trying to think of a unique name that would actually be used in this new venture . Thanks and Good luck to all of the entries.

Here you go - it takes a minute to sink in but it's very catchy and gritty in the same way as "Hard Times".

Toronto's nickname is "Hog Town" -

Atlantic Billiard Chots'

Atlantic Fishing Pool
Atlantic Pool & Fish
Atlantic Pool & Pub

Ashton Bee's Billiards.

Here's another
Aim Ahead Billiards

This was my previous pool rooms name. You'll be first in the phone book, I made the A letters into all eight balls forming the Rack Triangle, and the interior of each A replace some eight balls with Four....9 balls. As with each shot and school, and life, your always aiming ahead towards your intended target. Get a rack of black balls, remove four eight balls, reinsert four nine balls and you have a Perfect letter (A) Black on....yellow & White.

Jimmy's House of Booze, Broads and Billiards.

Logo can be a rack of balls only instead of balls its little boobs. Covered of course. Gotta keep it classy.

Seriously though..I wish you the best of luck on your new place. I know whatever you do it will be first class.

Updated shortlist for club names:

In answer to the last post's question, Nope no name has been chosen yet.
But I can update everybody with respect to narrowing down the field.
Here is a shortlist of names my partner and I have agreed that we like:
(This doesn't mean we still aren't shopping so keep those names coming in....)

Quesports: The Warden’s Den

Muddawg: Toronto Q Club

Randy Maha: Stix n Stones

Jaetee: Bankshots Billiards and Sports Bar
(Gave us the idea of "The Corner Bank" so Jaetee gets credit if this is chosen)

Blackboarowner: Stroke of Genius Sports Bar

Naji: Mosconi’s (will have to check on this but I like it for obvious reasons)

Galipeau: The Break Room

Rayjay: Bankers Hall

Str8 Shotz
(have to check back on who provided this name or idea)

:-) All good so far! The cue winner will be announced before Christmas.

Big thanks to everybody who participated!!
