Rick,

Each customer is an ongoing account. I know Jaden a little and if I owned a pool room, I would want him there. For one, he plays good, loves the game, and plays for hours and hours. For two, he socializes and matches up with other players and would recommend your place to others. Three, he is clean cut, well behaved and a good person to have around.

If you alienate 1 person like Jaden a month, it costs you nearly $30,000 a year in income. More importantly, you lose that person as a pied piper and gain him as a disgruntled customer.

I don't see the advantage in not wanting to groom a customer like him. I would have gotten on here, told him I was sorry for inconveniencing him, and invited him to 3 hours of free table time and a beer on me. Some little thing like that is all it takes.

Jaden, Rick has a table set up for live stream all the time. You and Rick can shake hands, bury the hatchet and we can watch you two play a set of 9 or 10 Ball or 14.1! How cool would that be for us AZ folks to watch on the free live stream!!!

The stream will not have any commentary so you can listen to the ABR broadcast and watch the stream...as long as you are not drinking heavily you should be able to pull that off...I hope!

I tried calling and no one answered. Everyone said yours was the best pool hall and that you were open so I drive there anyway.

You were closed with no lighted signs so I drive to running out which was empty. I had been looking forward to playing so I was upset. I went and played at top hat the next day and then drive down to Stirling and played with black balled some. Then came back up and wanted to try your hall again because of what people said and because the tables looked nice through the Windows.

I called to try and ensure you were open and again got no answer and no voicemail. The Yahoo listing for you had no hours listed so i figured since everyone was saying that you were still open I would take the twenty minute drive anyways.

Again you were closed. So I posted this thread.

You know what I was going to drive down to Stirling to play in a tourney with black balled but I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and I don't want there to be bad blood, so if you'll be at your pool hall I will come there right now to discuss this like gentlemen and see if it can be resolved. If you're as good a guy as the people here that I trust say. I will happily retract anything negative ihave said here.

I'll need you to reply fairly quickly though that your both ok with that and that you'll be there.

Frank...It is indeed! I had a chance to play some with Jaden last month, out in CA at Shooters in Riverside! Great guy, and plays strong. He's one of those players who can pick up a game quickly, so I would expect him to hold up his end pretty well with Rick. I'd also like to say I've always been treated great by the folks at Big Daddy's too. You and I had a great lesson there, and I'm headed out that way again before too long! :thumbup:

Not sure who's playing right now, I just tuned in. The guy with the beard might be Jaden. Certainly not the other guy in white with gray hair. Black Balled, did Jaden go gangsta with a backwards baseball cap and beard?

I am really happy that Jaden and Rick patched things up and are playing!

Scott Lee gave me a four hour lesson (At least that is what I paid for) at Big Daddy's. It turned into seven hours at no charge! Scott is the nuts!
