He's a hell of a player...

Rick is good people. It Just a perfect storm type of thing and both of us are quick to anger and quick to forgive.

He treated me to pool and a soda and was genuinely sorry about the circumstances that led to everything.

Wow! I followed this thread at my daughters basket ball game and even watched the stream from the stands(don't tell my kid). I am so used to reading melt downs here that I expected the worst and I was wrong. You guys rock, Rick I will visit your room one day, and Jaden....bummer about the trips that did not produce but you have a great memory with this event.

BTW, one of the first times I ever met Rick, Keith and I were at a tournament. Rick and I got in a conversation about dents in the shaft. He said, "Hold on a minute." He went into a back room and game out with a piece of this a clear glass sphere and said that can help remove some dents. Then he said, "Here, keep it." He gave it to me as a gift. Nobody gives things away for free very often, and here this man gave something to me. It was his kind gesture that meant more than anything else. It warmed my heart.

He's always been one of the good guys in Maryland pool. I can't think of anybody more enthusiastic about pool than Rick.

I'm glad this ended on a good note! :)
 
And folks will note a couple of items in the pic jaden posted that are evidence tha big daddy's is serious about pool:

A snooker table...with players on it.

And I am sure there's more.
