Drake Bell - Files banruptcy

Does a youngster just starting out need that expensive a house?

Probably not but he has to keep up the image that he is trying to portray.

The house really wasn't much compared to many others in Hollywood but obvioulsy, it was beyond his means.

I agree, Tweeting against the Beibs, one can't know the outcome. When the guy has a temper tantrum in a coffee shop over a carmel machiato and has to get slapped out, you never know what he can do to your career.

Make a couple of calls and just maybe the work stops coming in quite so regular.

Beibs is a little b itch and he will do it to you.

But yeah, I agree, should have had the Biz Man take care of a bit of Biz for you.

LAs Biz scene is different than the Biz in Vegas.

Hey Hog, are all Canadians as annoying as the Bieb :)

Absolutely not!

Thats why we don't want him back. I mean, can't blame you guys if you don't want him either.

I believe that Whistle Blower will eventually find asylum before Beibs would.

Ha, I didn't think so :) Just busting your chops on this cold day !! There are lots of teen stars, past and present, that were annoying as hell. I told my son we had the same stuff when I was a kid....the kid the girls all loved and the guys disliked... his name... Donny Osmond :)

Can you blame us? Donny Osmond is still disliked by most guys.

So is Tom Cruise. They're called "pretty boys."

I use to like Tom Cruise and his movies, until his Scientology stuff came out, and then read what a real creep the guy is.. Hard to root for a guy this creepie, even in a movie :)

I agree, I used to love his movies, now he seems strange.

to his defense, If I was a top 10 actor for 20 plus years and never heard the word "NO" from anyone, I would probably be a little strange as well. It would be hard to stay in touch with "reality". haha

Thank for all the green rep guys. I didn't see this post as a big deal.

It is a big deal to the person it happened to and to his family. Robin is one of our own who has helped our beloved sport grow in only the best of ways. This is how we pay her back, by broadcasting an unfortunate situation with her son.

It takes a certain amount of wisdom to bite the bullet and exercise good judgement when deciding whether or not to post stuff like that.

I float around 'AZ' often and post very little. Mostly because - its a pissing match and much little to do about pool. We have a few select people posting and commenting on threads resulting in pounding garbage threads to the forefront while actual pool threads die quickly. Here we are on this thread. For me personally, pool, and I'm sure for most, is something my family knows very little about. What I might find interesting in this world, my wife and kids find completely boring. So, as I scan looking at the usual garbage with the occasional (Ronnie O playing great snooker) thread, I find this one.

I think its the first thread in all my years here that my family actually found interesting. When threads 'vote for Drake' started, I told my kids that Drake's mom posted on this forum. My kids thought it was cool. For me, this thread is probably more pool related than most because everyone in my family will remember and understand the post I'm talking about. It connects my interest to theirs.

It is a very unfortunate but real situation this young man finds himself in. Embarrassing and nothing more, and almost expected from child actors. The industry exploits these kids to the fullest and have thousands of parents and kids waiting for their turn.

I think this thread and Drakes connection to the pool world is just giving him a few extra prayers and well wishes, nothing more. Now, back to bonus ball, Earl, and the garbage!

Did anyone here not already read about Drake elsewhere before they saw it on AZB? It was on every news site out there (although I'll never know why) before it was posted here. I would say it should be bigger news here than anywhere else.

No, this is not pool news just because Robin is his mom.

It's really a shame for the people who post here to berate someone for filing bankruptcy without knowing the circumstances, and what that person may have had to face.

I know of several people who have had to resort to filing due to circumstances beyond their control. Things happen.

Why don't you all stop gloating over someone's misfortune and move on to something that actually relates to pool?

I agree. This is no way pool related and non of anyone here's business!

I feel the same way :thumbup2:
