It is complete BS. I have way more hair than this guy... well... a little more... Dammit how the heck did Teacherman know I was bald anyhow?!?

Great pictures. Love those USA jerseys. Anyone who gets to watch the Mosconi on that 40 foot screen is lucky indeed. Almost as good as being there!

I'll tell everyone another story from last night and hope Mark Wilson doesn't mind. I was talking with Mark up on the top level as he was 'checking in' on Justin being the first to announce on the stream. Mark was all over the place and without really saying it, I think he was just making sure that his players were all in the right places.

Mark, with his voice almost crackling - well maybe it was crackling, told me about how when he was 11 years old, he would drive down from his hometown to come to Busch Stadium to watch the Cardinals play once or twice a year. (Ball Park Village where we were is built right on the site of the old Busch Stadium). So Mark tells me, fast forward in his life and he meets Justin Bergman as an 11 year old pool prodigy. He starts working with Justin on his pool game and as an escape takes Justin to a Cardinal game. Justin gets on the big screen during the game simply as some kid with mustard all over his face, eating a hot dog. Just one of those things shown during games. And now Mark tells me, we have Justin as one of the best pool players in the USA playing pool on the same grounds where Mark has such great memories of his life and experience with Justin at the baseball game. He simply said that life does come full circle.

Best post I've read all day....I have become a Bergman fan.
My best pool bet of the year was Bergman against Shaw....
..I said he had the perfect style to win that match....fortunately, I was disagreed with.

Yeah SJM - I just need to figure out how to tell my boss I need to take a 4 hour lunch.

And I agree the shirts are great. He is sponsoring and making a set for me and my Golden Tee tour. Charles - owner of UTG knows what he is doing. And he has thoughts on doing something with pool. Google RedEye Rhino sometime and read all what he has done with darts. He just had 24,000 viewers for his last stream. Big added money. Hopefully he continues on in working with pool.

Me too.... Slow steady grinders usually win against emotional high powered shooters :thumbup:

Meanwhile, the people you think are morons, idiots, and welfare collecting rift raft are buying 20-30 ppv streams a year. I bought two of yours this year FYI and I thought both were great. (Not that you care anyways)

So? I'm a bit confused why this has turned so hostile? Did you forget to take your lithium the last week or two?

Well I know some are only going to judge Mark by the end results but know one can deny
his dedication to Team USA and to pool as a whole in this country cudos to him

Whatever Jam. You are not the "only" person who gets to be offended when they are personally attacked on the forum, and I find it hugely hypocritical that you of all people would come to the defense of someone who is personally attacking another forum member. That is the honest truth.

The next time someone personally attacks you on this forum and you are hurt by it hopefully someone does not come onto that thread and attack "you" for it, like you are doing here.

<edit> And for what it is worth, I did not post mention of the discussion me and Teacherman were having on the Live Stream thread "AT ALL" when I posted on this thread. I came on here to let JB know that there was action to be had on the Mosconi Cup in the Action Room as it is a popular thing to bet on at present.

I was then the topic of TWO posts from Teachman who decided to attack me on "this" thread and bring the discussion that I was more than happy to leave on the Live Stream section of the forum over to the Main Forum.

By all means Jam, read back into this thread. I did not say a PEEP about Teacherman or this event on this event until he decided to attack me directly on two consecutive posts.

If I -- quote/unquote -- "attacked" you, you'd know it. I expressed an opinion about the tenor of this thread. I don't attack on AzBilliards unless you come after Keith. Then I will be in attack mode. So far, no harm, no foul.

I'm sure you will return with a diatribe about my choice of words in this post, and so be it. I won't let you steal my joy. After all, it's Friday, one of my favorite days of the week.

I agree. I'm liking Justin more and more each year. I am very proud to have Sky on the team too. He's the icing on the cake. :)

This thread is all about promoting pool, the Mosconi Cup, and the fact that it is Friday, which is indeed the greatest day of the week. Yippee...;)

Totally agree.....Mark Wilson gets "Coach of the Decade" from me.

..and kudos to Watchez for supporting him all the way.

He should not be hitting you, Jen-nie.

It was a great event orchestrated by Pool Maestro supreme Mark Wilson. If we had a Mark Wilson in every city in this country, our sport would be growing by leaps and bounds. A little disconcerting to read the hurtful words on what should be a celebratory thread.

I have a little experience owning and operating poolrooms myself, twenty two years worth, and I cherished every customer that walked through my doors, RICH OR POOR! Without them I would have no business and I did not differentiate between the big spenders and those who might only play one hour at day time rates and drink a single coke. For that reason I had a loyal customer base that gave me a good living for many years. Pissing people off is just plain bad for business and when I see an owner or manager doing it I know they are not long for this business. Bad news travels fast, as does good news!

At the same time I always reserved the right to refuse service to anyone who I deemed unfit to be in my establishment. I did not want disruptive people around my good customers and I let them know that. Carry on! :)
