Hi Fatboy. I am doing well, but been extremely busy. I visit Facebook more now. I am sponsoring a child in SE Asia through the orphanage that I was adopted from and I mentor a 14 year old girl whose parents were both meth addicts. I am trying to give back in my own way. Hope all is well with you too. I miss AZB and will be posting more now when I can. Glenn Atwell and I are in the Finals of BCA Masters Scotch Doubles.

My name is Brian Ruden, and I am a fellow cue collector and car nut. I am writing to inquire about possibly visiting you in Vegas on May 22 or 23. I have followed many of your posts and you seem to be very generous about sharing your amazing collections. I will be in Vegas for my birthday that weekend and would love to stop by if you are available. My cues include: Barry Szamboti, Tascarella, and many others. My parents owned several pool halls in NJ over the years and I have been a cue nut since I was about 10 years old. Back in the day, I remember all the best players used Balabushka's and Szamboti's. I am also an avid car enthusiast and now own a 1985 Porsche 911 Turbo Targa that I drive on our local track. While in Vegas I am treating myself to the Lamborghini and Ferrari experience at exotics racing. Seeing your collection of cues and cars would be a real treat. My phone # is 303-359-1678.

Hey Eric - thanks for the sentiment. It's nice to have such great friends, especially in times of uncertainty like this. I have too much to lose to not land on my feet. My wife is 8 months pregnant, and I need to be there for her. My situation is not the worst out there, and I refuse to sit and whine.

Thanks Eric, and congrats on being a godfather. Coincidentally I was just chosen to be a godfather as well. Quite the compliment, for someone to basically say, 'I respect you, and a trust you to take care of my child in case something happens'. Pretty awesome.

Thanks for friending me on here. I loved your thread. I've taken two lessons from Johnny and I could really hear the sound of his voice as I was reading the dialogue of him asking you and Kelly to be Godparents. I have no kids and actually recently got a vasectomy so it hit home with me how honored I would be to have one of the all time greatest all around persons in pool ask me that.
