Eric,
Don't sweat it. As I mentioned, I was mostly in town to do the family thing. The four nights I was there, I took my mom to see the Fremont Street Experience, a Neil Diamond impersonator and David Copperfield. We had some good quality time out there. I barely had any time for other things but I did get a chance to break away a couple of times. I ran into Walter Glass at Pool Sharks and broke even with him in One-Pocket. The next day I went to the Cue Club and got clobbered by Gilbert, again playing One-Pocket. The following day Gilbert and I hooked up for some 10-ball. This time it was back and forth, but he came out 2 ahead when we quit. It was a lot of fun.
So no big deal. You had already told me there was a chance you may not be in town when I got there. So it wasn't as if everything was hinging on us meeting up.
I'll be in town again for the Mosconi Cup. I've been invited to the Player's Reception on Wednesday night. Will you be there?
Ernie
