if you had 3000.00 to buy any cue what would it be? we are going to be donating a cue for chalking for a cure , for musculir distriphy so iam going to take all the info compiled to search for a very desireable cue. and the more interest the more the charity makes. we are going to purchase the cue and they will raffle it! so help me out azers its for a good cause! thank you and God bless www.cornerstonecustomcues.com

A Tascarella or Hercek... probably would be a little on the plain side with $3k to work with, but those 2 guys would be at the top of the list.

Not sure what those McWorters are going for but that would be my choice.
After that, probably a Hercek.

i like Hightower as my Favorite.he is a good pool player himself and knows and understands how a hit should be..also the variety of things he can do with his imagination is unbelievable...my Hightower is pictured in my Avatar.as with any cue the pic just does not do it justice. Chris Hightower is at www.hightowercues.com :)

A Bill Schick. Old School Master, always nice to look at, undervalued in my opinion, and truely original.

> That one-off Schon with the great big ivories that was floating around here recently, honestly. Tommy D.

I would say have Gilbert make a higher end cue and do it...that way his name gets out there more and you would get a pretty darn nice cue from him for 3k.

All of the suggestions above (except 1) are great. However, I wonder who will be bidding on the cue?

If knowledgeable pool players / cue collectors will be bidding, then any of the high-end makers above would be ideal.

If "non"-pool players are the bidding audience, then something really flashy will likely bring more and higher bids than a "traditional" looking cue. And, to that group, the name won't mean as much as it does to people reading this thread.

I'd like to throw Jim White out as a suggestion also. Innovative designs, flawless execution. Doesn't get much better than that!
