I was just wanted to vent a little bit about the conduct in the chat room. The Arab people have provided us with a great stream and finally being able to follow the World Championships.

But several chat room posters just have try and ruin it for everyone. If this continues, don't be shocked if the hosts decide to curtail some or all of features.

Spamming is ridiculous.
Foul language is not acceptable.
Please honor the wishes of the hosts - and just common decency.

Sometimes the pool world is so frustrating. So many try to do good things, and some spectator decides to just screw it up because they have the mentality of a six year old.

I've had an interesting experience or two myself recently and I surely understand, some people!

My suggestion would be to get rid of the chat room and just let us all enjoy the matches. After all, this is how it would be if it were screened on TV...

I tried to help in the chat and others to bridge the cultural differences. People need to understand that FOUL language is = to taking a dump on your neighbors lawn to them. So, next time you are on THEIR chat consider it "Taking a dump on your neighbors lawn" before you post and I am sure NO ONE would drop their draws and plant one on the neighbors front yard. Certainly, would not be the type of neighbor anyone would want.

there's ALWAYS a good match to watch, so i put all my attention to it most of the time. i got no time for typing and reading.

the other day though there were some "SVB haters" arguing with fans. they were like 10-year-old girls arguing who's got the prettiest barbie.:lol::lol:

today there were even below-the-belt comments against Filipinos, Americans, Chinese and Middle-Eastern people. i'm disappointed, to think that an international event like this should be a celebration of the game itself - its competitiveness and how it gathers different people from different parts of the world.

I haven't really posted anything in the chat, but have been surprised at some of the comments. There is a lot of negativity and I'm sure the majority of people watching are over 20. By looking at the comments you would think some of the people in the chat are no older than 14, which I'm assuming isn't the case. I couldn't agree with Mark more. This is maybe the best stream I've ever seen and the ability to choose between 14 table just takes the cake. Best of all, it's free!

I never watch full screen....I love the chat function.
But I totally agree about the lack of civility.....

....anonymous posting is like the age-old moral dilemma ....
...Will you do the right thing when no one is watching?

But some of these guys are as funny as Don Rickles.....:killingme:

Your right!

Just kill the chat. To many people who need an audience and they don't care about the harm it does to the rest of us.

I'm with you, Stu and Mark here. The chat room was UGLY for the most part. If I were running Kazoom's coverage I would cut it out entirely. Better to add commentary on one key match per round. Now that would be a nice addition.

I don't read the chat too much anymore, I just go full screen and enjoy the pool. :)

Eliminate the chat room -- problem solved.

In its space you could put score updates, upcoming matches, etc., you know...useful information.

Asking people to be civil, and explaining that foul language is offensive, is like throwing gasoline on a fire. Save your electrons.

I concur I shut off the chat when I go full screen. People all over can be classless, I enjoyed the heck out of the Efren and Grabe match and I will admit that kid gave it his all. People have money on the games, it is bound to make them hot. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen son.

Mark, it really has been a disgrace in the chat room. People using swear words and just saying outrageous things and talking about the players countries or people in negative terms. They even go so far as to use nasty terms as their identities.

I really had to resize my window to cover the chat. It is a shame because a lot of people are respectful. It seems like it is mostly Americans that just think they are some kind of comedians or want to show how much nasty slang they can sling.

I use to go in the stream chats all the time. I just got fed up with people in the chats saying what some champion should have done when they probably can't run 3 balls that are all a foot from a pocket. If they ever had to play any of the ones they're trying put down they'd have to have a pair of spare underwear or probably panties in their cue case.. Johnnyt

IMHO, the chat serve purpose to Kozoom - they use the chat for feedback and highlight update technical problems with the streams. There are some Kozoom staff in the chat like David something - their chat text are yellow color.
Maybe Kozoom should limit the chat to just technical matters about stream and feedback and disallow social chit chat, etc
Someone should send the feedback here about the chat line to Kozoom so that maybe some action will be taken :)

Nobody minds if their dog duties in my yard though! Lol

why cant they just have a few mods and ban anybody that gets out of line
any chat room will have this problem with internet trolls getting out of hand
when they know they can say anything and get away with it
