Filipino?

It is all CNC work. Nothing sharp on the cue. I doubt it is Filipino for that reason...but I can't offer a better guess

that W kinda looks like the Woody Woodsworth W....

maybe the Z is the name of the cue?

chris

Any contact information about this cuemaker?
Thanks!

I don't know who made it, but I love it, it's a nice looking cue. How does it play, how's the balance.

It plays solid and the balance is very nice....

widowmaker maybe..?
Not a chance. I'd guess one of the Fillipino cuemakers.
Yeah, that would be my guess too. Nice looking cue.

Thanks for the guessing....

i think what he was getting at was that because the cue doesn't have sharp points (done with cnc) that it probably isn't from the PI

What kind of joint screw does it have???

The joint screw can sometimes be crucial information as to confirm if it is a PI cue. There are screws used there, you won't see anywhere else, although some have started using more U.S. configurations as well. The very clear striations in the butt ivory make it suspect of being a PI cue. Most High Dollar makers in the U.S. would use a Whiter better grade of ivory for the butt on a cue this elaborately inlaid.

I know what he said :)
And Jackson from viattorre makes very sharp points without CNC.... This is what i am trying to say here...
Anyway thanks...

Well, I don't have the foggiest idea of who made it. If it is a Wiley Woodworth, it would be the first one like it that I have ever seen. Personally, whether it is CNC or not, the design and overall appearance of the cue is fantastic, to me. I hope someone can bring the cuemaker's name to the light. One thing that I would ask is what is the quality of the finish, etc like? Many times a picture will make something look great, but doesn't show all the close up detail work. What do you think of the fit and finish of the cue? It all looks excellent, to me.

Logo

I'm wondering if the 'W' is not the cuemaker but whom the cue was made for. The 'Z' might be the cuemaker's logo.

Did you check the Blue Book or Billiard Encyclopedia to see if maybe someone has it listed with the initials?

This cue looks a lot like that style of fancy cues that Eurowest makes. I would check with them. You can search for their threads in the cue gallery section and see similarities.

Yeah,I agree. This seems more like a advertisement. Are you saying your friend doesn't know who made this cue? He must know where he bought the cue. Who is "cuemaster"?
