The players I know and hang out with are doing ok from doing exhibitions, lessons, coaching, training, selling billiard equipment, cars, computers, books, consulting for bars, pool rooms, etc.....I think we all know the world is challenging right now, even brilliant college students are having trouble finding good jobs. Many are bartending, or waiting tables.
..... thank Goodness this country allows these occupations to exist where you can make a living off "tips". I'm in that business and it's a wonderful thing. "where there is a will, there is a way to make money, as long as you provide more value than what you receive things will work out ok"..
Creating value is the American way and it's done in many ways, shapes and forms in pocket billiards and all other sports/games....that's the "secret" to making money in these trying times ....and it's more about being willing to visualize outcomes and goals and then letting it happen naturally.
