AZB is such a fun place to hang you forget, meeting the folks is a such a big bonus!....The wife and I had the fantasy suite next to the Jimbo Army last year at the expo.....they were some partying mofos!......I just wish I would have stopped over and said hi!....We already booked a new room for this upcoming year.


After all of 5 minutes at the TAR booth at the EXPO.....the wife and I were holding court and selling shirts ETC while the crew went for a dinner break.

Nothing like seeing/meeting the folks you hold in high regard, then hanging out and getting to know the same people. I'm chomping at the bit waiting for the Derby this year......it will be my first time!...

I have met many AZ guys and gals but cant remember all their names. Wish I could. Maybe I will start writing them all down so I can remember them all.

Almost everyone has been extremely friendly and nice. Theres always a few crazies in any bunch.

My thoughts have been that most regulars here are always nice, respectful and enjoy meeting others from here.

I also attended two RSB get-togethers years ago. Very good times there.

Now I live in Socal with many AZers and barely see any of them. We really should have more meet and greet sessions.

Cigar Dave is an old old childhood friend. We went to High School together. I have not seen Dave for I'll guess around 40 years.
We connected on here about a year ago. It's been fun re-connecting. :)
 
I've met ZERO AZers (that I know of). I'd like to find out if any AZ member here that's been on these forums as long as me can beat that!

I would guess if I COULD list them all (I often suffer from C.R.S.S.! LOL), my list would be about 10 times as long as Roy's...but truthfully that's because I travel coast to coast teaching, spending up to 200 days a year on the road! Been doing that for the past 15 years, with no end in sight! Over the years I've met literally hundreds and hundreds of AzBr's, whether working with them, or meeting up with them at events like the SBE, Derby City, Vegas or wherever...it's been a blast, and I've never met a stranger. Interesting, most of them are what I call (complimentarily) "pool kooks". A pool kook is someone who just LOVES pool...watches it (on tv, live, or videos), plays it (whether in league, tournaments, for $$$, or just fun), reads about it, dreams about it, and probably owns several pieces (at least) of varied billiard equipment and merchandise/products! I seem to gravitate towards pool kooks wherever I go! Gotta love my job! :grin: I still have a BUNCH of AzB people yet to meet though! I've just met a few new ones in LA and TX, and I'm surely going to meet many new ones, over the next few weeks, as I travel through AZ, CA, NV, UT, CO, NE, IA and IL...on my way back to MI!If you're along my route, give me a shout, and maybe I can make a few more new friends!
