BB players not being paid can't be true. The ABP was set up for the sole purpose of getting players paid and to boycott who aren't/didn't pay. Well there are 15-20 ABP members including their president and officers playing BB. You can't tell me this could be happening right before their eyes. Surely they made sure the money was really there to pay them before they gave their members the green light to play??? What a joke. Johnnyt

I once worked for a start-up company. We got paid a few times and when the paychecks stopped, we continued working because we believed in what we were doing. As it is, the whole thing was a failure and technically (I suppose I'm still owed about a month's salary) but I would probably do it again if I believed that what I was doing could be a success.

How is playing Bonus Ball any different than working for a start-up company?

Be patient my friend

Don't be too harsh on the ABP. All past Pro Pool Associations have always stated basically the same thing. We all know how that goes.

In a few more days, the truth will come out.

Just be patient.

Yes, but the ABP is really a sham with Charlie the Pedo collecting $100 a pop or something for every member.

thats to pay the lawyers, he dont pocket any of that $$$, he mite like to, but it dont work out that way.

Come on folks! Let's not start criticizing again! Whether the players are fully paid (in real time) is none of our freakin business. The players are adults—they signed the contracts. This is a venture that requires all involved to do their job.

Allow the company to do what it has to do within the law; that means pool players play, and more important, the powers that be adjust the business cycle so as to achieve success!

I've got some work you could do for me. I just need you to fly to Vegas and be there at my every call and I'll pay you in a couple weeks. Interested?

bull caca mama!

each time we see somebody doing our friends wrong, we are gonna speak up.

The problem as I see it isn't simply bonus ball players not getting paid but scheduling bonus ball in conflict with major tournaments in which the pros would have been paid if they had attended.

It puts the players in a tough spot.

BB and controversy

Here is my take -

I don't know what is the truth about Bonus Ball - but just like all the credibility issues of the past, this is another black eye for the entire pool industry.

It doesn't make any difference who is to blame - I imagine there is plenty to go around - what is hurtful to the industry is all the damage done to the future promoters and dreamers.

A couple more episodes like this and this industry will sink lower.

Tis truly a shame!

Maybe, if they cashed, but yes this has been discussed. OK someone please PM me with clear instructions how to do the multiple post quote thing before I get banned!

Oh yes someone needs to provide the link between ABP and WPBL, I forgot.

Am I starting to look like Justadub? Don't answer :)
