Bill Stroud's Design Contest - Who'd you choose?

Voted for peter_gunn's feather cue. It was the only design of the final 5 that I felt worthy of consideration after Mr Stroud's comments about cue design that ultimately led to this contest.
 
I voted for MHAIMI, late in the voting. I may have been the deciding vote. I PMed Bill, that I have decided to make a cue from the design I submitted. So I'll get my DREAM CUE, after all. Thanks Bill ...JER
 
I voted for peter_gunn's feather design. (But congrats to mhaimi!)

The feather was the only one of Bill Stroud's final five that was in MY initial pick at the final five, but all of Bill Stroud's choices were great cues. It was hard to chose only one cue to vote on.

The feather cue was stunning and unique, but it would not be my dream cue. Everyone submitted their dream cue.

I also liked SpiderWebbComm's spiderweb cue, KickinChicken's domino cue, and the Marine Corps cue (plus my Casino Royale cue, of course!!).

But...there can be only one.
 
when will the next contest be scheduled...looking forward to submit my design. It's going to have bluetooth capabilities..:), laser aiming system implanted in the shaft designed specifically for my (shadow aiming system), interchangeable section to will created a matrix of unique design, Martin style construction with modern technology (can take the cue apart), 3d edge crystal with LED implant, Mini high res LED Screen, that allow you to design any digital image and upload on the screen, security on the cue that will imbed a GPS device to local the cue if it stolen, etc, etc. etc. Can't wait!!!

Same for me...the only cue left standing of what I thought were Final 5 contenders.

Cutting edge design may not be the most popular but it was a great contest, my entry didn't make the top anything. I also voted for Peter's Feather Cue.

A one vote difference, you can't please everyone. I am thankful for the opportunity to participate in the contest.
 
I voted for Dagwoodz cue.

The fact that he is in a combat zone and found beauty in a place at a time where there is not much beauty to appreciate made me appreciate his cue design. The idea of using local materials to decorate the cue was a great idea and the cue. He put a lot of thought into the design and the cue would have been a classic souvenir of this experience that he is going through right now.

As you can see from my avatar, I have a lot of respect for our military men and women who serve our country's interest. I may not agree with what our country's interests are but I support the soliders nevertheless.

If I were Dagwoodz, I would find out what type of materials, size, shape, age etc was needed to decorate the cue and buy three times as much as what would be needed and ship it back to the states.

A cue maker would take great pride in building such a cue, in my opinion.

The day will come when Dagwoodz would be able to afford to have this cue built and the materials that he brought back would provide a lifetime and more of memories for this experience he is going through.
 
I think the final five cue designs should use their designs or a portion of them in their avatar at least for a short while with the slogan, "I made BILL STROUD'S FINAL FIVE.". :D
