Billy I vs Kieth Mc on TAR?

This is what we have so far.

The Legends Action Challenge

Billy Incardona vs. Keith McCready

$10,000 Entry

Race to 20 1 Pocket (I am thinking split into 2 days, race to 10 each day or we can do a marathon if you guys want)

I will get in touch with Barry Berman and find out for sure if we are going to the Open. If so we can do it at Q-Masters, if not then maybe Kansas City at Shooters or Side Pockets. Location isnt too much of an issue for TAR as long as we can get a solid internet line.

Billy just called me and it sounds like he's really revved up about the match. If Keith is too, then so am I. I have slowed my traveling days down considerably, but I would certainly make an exception to do that match. I have many secret stories on both participants that I would be willing to leak to the pool public. These two guys are what pool is really all about. I make the game dead even.

Billy vs Keith with Freddie and either Grady or Danny D. on commentary would be my dream match-up.

Would it be too confusing to mic the players and have commentary?

I have watched Billy play a few times and he does not say much when he is in action, from what I have seen. It might be cool if there was a mic near the table that could pick up some of the more colorful comments.

Especially since the game is one pocket, I don't think Billy and Keith will be talking the whole time if they're wearing microphones.

Freddie, Grady, and Danny know the game so well, and the players so well, I think they would make this match a classic.

We can do it so the commentators in the booth can hear what Keith and Billy are saying through their headsets.

We will do some experimenting but I think it would work pretty well.

As far as Pre-Selling DVD's or streams we are not going to take money for something we are not 100% sure we can produce. There are many details that have to get worked out before that happens. The good news is it looks like the 2 main players are on board.

I will call Barry Behrman tomorrow and try to get something put together for the venue. Freddy says he is in, thanks Freddy, now if we can get Grady on board and sort out a few other things, get some money posted and we will be in action.

I spoke with Keith today and he is excited about this and really would like to do it at Q-Masters. If any of you know Barry put a bug in his ear about how cool it would be to have this match be streamed live from his room as a lead in to the Open.

This is looking really good. If a couple of hurdles can be overcome it will be a reality. Thanks to Billy, Keith and Jam, Freddy and JohnnyT for stirring all this up. It is going to be great!

I don't think you will have a problem with Barry. He knows a good thing when he sees it. :cool:

I'm pretty sure you mean Jenny Craig, right? This could easily be taken wrong and I don't think it was meant that way.

I can't wait for this match up!! Sometimes when I would record my practice sessions with friends, I would connect a microphone to my Diamond light over my Pro-Am. I think this method would be better than lapel mics.
