Last night, while banging some balls & drinking beer, no other than our hero Bob Jewett walks into the pool-hall. Since I've always wanted to play him, I asked if he was up for some BCA 8-ball. He said he was about to meet someone, but sure, he could always squeeze in a game -- and up came the Balabushka.

After getting some tea (to stick it to us beer drinkers, I guess) we lagged for the break, which I won, and off we went... playing some spectacular pool. NOT!

Anyways, when I beat him, he said that this was just a warmup game, so we played yet another game -- which I also won.

So after he ran off with the tail between his legs (mumbling something about Norwegians should be banned from society), I was gleefully thinking that perhaps I should never again play him -- keeping a perfect score against this sulky Swede.

Bob jewett has the 8-ball for 200 a set at CBC anytime he wants to step up and play.
Come over to Shoreline and you have the orange crush on table 4 and you can bet what you like.

As for Norwegians, I suppose some of them might be nice people but I have not yet seen proof. Typically, they wouldn't bet a wet match. Other than dynamite and rotten fish, what have they ever given the world?

are u a sore looser or do you have right about no idea what you're typing?

as he, peer, claims you being swede; lie punctuation who it came from i don't care. if you were, you'd be equally educated in scandinavian customs as a stop shot, historical or not.

do you even have a clue? norwegians are simply awsome people. you been there, lived with them? they know squat about dynamite, laugh at rotten fish and sell the shits to swedes. they have given more to the south pole than you ever gave a draw. :D

From listening to you I always thought you were an A player.
You are starting to sound like Russ the Short Bus :D

Bob may or may not be an A player, I do not know. But, I do know that he is a mathmatical genius and when it comes to the angles, curves, etc. on a pool table....he is second to none on this knowledge. Some of the greatest coaches in golf, pool, tennis and so on, were not great players. They just knew how to teach the games extremely well because of their knowledge. So while you may have beaten him , give him a chance to play you at a game of his choice. If you're lucky, it wont be at anything that requires alot of brains. JMO.

Bob was an ACUI Champion.....(if not mistaken)

Well, OK, so between that and the rotten fish I guess they're even.

As for Denmark, I've met Danish people who were both fine people and fine players. The Norwegians could learn a lot from them.

Hey, if Jewett doesn't woof at him how is he gonna get him back at the table. Just shows he is a player.:D

i did not think you had any gamble there Mr. Jewett! I will be happy to play you some at shoreline and I will play you some even 9-ball, 8-ball, one pocket on any table you like. Just name the date and I will be there. I will try you some one pocket 50-100 a game. Still wanna play?
