Thanks everyone. To clarify though, it took a team of 3 to get these logos done on time. The best work was done by a guy named Matthew that does interface design for xbox and such.
I actually like the Cruise logo, but as mentioned in post #3, the LA Wave logo is still a work in progress and being revamped today.

interesting that parica is on the miami team and kennedy is on the arizona team since both players live much closer to the opposite team.
very nice job on the logos! im rooting for this to get traction and take off. This is the most exciting prospect for growth within the USA pool market in a while.

One thing that hit me... When I first looked at the scorpion, I thought the tail looked like a goose. Maybe if you took the light gray that is closest to the end of the tail and made it the darker gray/black already in use, it wouldn't look like the eye of the goose?

I assume Bonus Ball team members were recruited in a similar way as other teams: find the talent you want and convince them to join-up.
Those are some of the best logos I have ever seen. It is hard enough to come up with one logo, but all of those are phenomenal. Well done! It would cost a couple thousand in my industry to come with even one logo as detailed as those. Wow!
Great looking logos Nathan. I asked Nathan for some website advice once and he has a lot of great ideas and knowledge of what the current look in our world should be.
But JAM - thousands? I had a professional logo made for $260 and think it looks pretty stellar. Afterwards I had a friend tell me that they have guys in Taiwan that will make you one for about $40.

Get a deal done with new era and I guarantee you will see these hats on everybody. When famous people wear shit they might even come support it.
Typically it's about $50/hour, that's fairly standard rate for an individual artist. For a design studio, the sky is the limit. For logos, there is a lot of back and forth, depending on the size of company and how many 'cooks in the kitchen'. Also, you must take branding into consideration.
I deal with team logos on a daily basis and honestly, simpler is better. The Yankees trump the NY Islanders all day. Too many details and things are just too busy. Hockey teams are the worst, especially the newer teams. I can tell these are inspired by hockey. Not saying their poorly made or designed, just a bit busy for my taste. I do like the Boston and Miami for whatever reason.
But a logo for $40 is like a steak from McDonalds. I'm sure it will taste like steak but I'll pass.
